ENEMIES OF PURE WORSHIP

The quintessential example of a pure worshiper is King David. There are so many things that we can learn from his life. One of these phenomena deals with the enemies of pure worship.

Psalms 5 was written in regard to Doeg and Athithophel who were enemies of David. Both Dorg and Athithopel were guilty of causing bloodshed and permitting illegal marriages. Doeg caused the murder of the priests of Nob and permitted David’s wife Michal to marry another man – Palti. Ahithophel advised Absalom to kill his father David and to consort with his father’s concubines.

¹ For the conductor, on the nechilos, a psalm of David. ² Hear my words, HASHEM, perceive my thoughts. ³ Harken to the sound of my outcry; my King and my God, for to You [alone] do I pray. ⁴ HASHEM, at dawn, as I arrange [my prayer] before You, and I wait expectantly. ⁵ For You are not a God who desires wickedness, no evil sojourns with You. ⁶ Roisters cannot stand firm before Your eyes, You despise all evildoers. ⁷ May You doom the speakers of deception; HASHEM abhors a bloodthirsty and deceitful man. ⁸ But I, through Your abundant kindness I will enter Your House; I will prostrate myself toward Your Holy Sanctuary in awe of You. ⁹ HASHEM, guide me in Your righteousness, because of my watchful enemies; make Your way straight before me. ¹⁰ For there is no sincerity in the mouth of any of them, their inner [thought] is treacherous; their throat an open grave, their tongue is glib. ¹¹ Declare them guilty, O God, may they fall short in their schemes; cast them away because of their many sins, for they have rebelled  against You. ¹² But all who take refuge in You will rejoice, forever they will sing joyously, You will shelter them; and those who love Your Name will exult in You. ¹³ When You will bless the righteous, HASHEM, You will envelop him with favor like a shield. ( Psalms 5:1-13  _Tanach ).

Let’s pull out some general principles set forth in Psalms 5 with regard to the enemies of pure worship:

[1] Roisters cannot stand firm before Your eyes, You despise all evildoers.” (Psalms 5:6). Some of the enemies of pure worship are roisters who engage in noisy revelry, and/or they are simply rude. Rude implies that they are either ignorant of good form or indifferent to it. These roisters can operate with intentional discourtesy.

 [2] “You despise all evildoers. May You doom speakers of deception” (Psalms 5:6-7). Although Doeg and Ahithophel engaged in the study of God’s Word, they perverted it to produce evil. Although they studied the minutest details of Torah, they did so with deceptive intentions and selfish gain. They perverted the truth in the Word of God to produce evil through deception and treachery.

[3] “For there is no sincerity in the mouth of any of them” (Psalms 5:10). These were the most dangerous enemies. They outwardly feigned friendship while in their hearts they were bitter implacable foes. These ones pretended to be friends while stabbing David in the back, spiritually speaking. They were not capable of being appeased. or being convicted so that they could be significantly changed.

[4] “Their throat is an open grave” (Psalms 5:10). The enemies of pure worshipers seek to swallow the fruits of other people’s labors: money, creative ideas, witty inventions, revelation about Scripture, anointings, ministries, businesses, etc. They are mammon motivated. Just as the open grave takes in a corpse, it’s their own dead end.

[5] “Their tongue is glib” (Psalms 5:10). The enemies of pure worshipers are slick and smooth talkers and takers. They seem harmless; but are extremely dangerous, especially to the undiscerning. Someone who is glib are marked by ease and fluency in speaking and writing often to the point of being insincere or deceitful, like a glib minister or glib politician. Can you say religious and political Babylon?! They also can be marked with a nonchalant demeanor of ease and informality.

[6] “Declare them guilty, O God!” (Psalms 5:11). Bring the enemies of pure worshipers to justice. Convict them of their guilt and cast them down from their positions of preeminence.

[7] “May they fall short in their schemes” (Psalms 5:11). May the enemies of pure worshipers own plots be the cause of their downfall, as in the case of Haman who prepared a gallow for Mordechai and was hanged upon it himself.

[8] “For they have rebelled against You” (Psalms 5:11). King David clarifies his many entreaties that he makes throughout the Psalms for the punishment of his enemies. It is not for his own honor that he demands punishment for his enemies, but rather David objects to their blatant refusal to accept YHVH’s will.

[9] “But all who take refuge in You will rejoice” (Psalms 5:12). When God Himself topples the wicked, all who trust in Him will rejoice and be glad! Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

DAVID’S HEART OF THANKSGIVING

When David killed Goliath, he became Saul’s favorite son-in-law, but soon Saul came to hate him. Saul considered David to be a traitor without any evidence. David fled to Philistia where he was surrounded by enemies who wanted to kill him.

When David finally became king, it took seven years before the entire nation accepted him. Even then, he was dogged by opposition. There was dissension and assassination in his own family. His unfaithfulness with Bathsheba tarred his reputation, having committed adultery as well as arranging for an innocent man to be killed – Bathsheba’s husband.

His own son mounted a revolution against him and tried to murder King David. As an old man, the once-great warrior was captured by the hated Philistines. David was nearly killed before his loyal warriors saved him. And as David lay on his deathbed, another son tried to depose him and declare himself as king.

In spite of all this, David’s life was a symphony of faith, song, and praise to the Most High God. Therefore, the Book of Psalms is not merely a collection David’s inspired prayers and praises, it embodies David’s essence – “Servant of YHVH” (Psalms 89:21). This august title is only applied to someone who lived not for himself, exclusively carrying out God’s will. It was also the title given to Moses when he died (Deut. 34:5).

Perhaps, one of the most significant features of the Sweet Singer of Israel’s character is that King David had a heart of thanksgiving. One particular psalm is a crescendo of gratitude. Let’s join with King David in singing this song anew in our hearts.

Psalms 107 (The Passion Translation):

 ¹ Let everyone give all their praise and THANKS TO THE LORD!
Here’s why—he’s better than anyone could ever imagine.
Yes, he’s always loving and kind, and his faithful love never ends.
^2–3 So, go ahead—let everyone know it!
Tell the world how he broke through
and delivered you from the power of darkness and
has gathered us together from all over the world.
He has set us free to be his very own!
⁴ Some of us once wandered in the wilderness like desert nomads,
with no true direction or dwelling place.
⁵ Starving, thirsting, staggering,
we became desperate and filled with despair.
⁶ Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And he did!
⁷ He led us right into a place of safety and abundance,
a suitable city to dwell in.
⁸ So LIFT UP YOUR HANDS AND THANK GOD FOR HIS MARVELOUS KINDNESS AND FOR ALL HIS MIRACLES OF MERCY FOR THOSE HE LOVES.
⁹ How he satisfies the souls of thirsty ones
and fills the hungry with all that is good!

We were prisoners to our pain, chained to our regrets.
¹¹ For we rebelled against God’s word
and rejected the wise counsel of God Most High.
¹² So he humbled us through our circumstances,
watching us as we stumbled, with no one there to pick us back up.
Our own pain became our punishment.
¹³ Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And he did!
¹⁴ His light broke through the darkness and
he led us out in freedom from death’s dark shadow
and snapped every one of our chains.
¹⁵ So LIFT UP YOUR HANDS AND GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR HIS MARVELOUS KINDNESS AND FOR ALL HIS MIRACLES OF MERCY FOR THOSE HE LOVES!
¹⁶ For he smashed through heavy prison doors and
shattered the steel bars that held us back, just to set us free!
¹⁷ Some of us were such fools, bringing on ourselves
sorrow and suffering all because of our sins.
¹⁸ Sick and feeble, unable to stand the sight of food,
we drew near to the gates of death.
¹⁹ Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And he did!
²⁰ God spoke the words “Be healed,” and we were healed,
delivered from death’s door!

²² Bring your praise as an offering and your THANKS AS A SACRIFICE
as you sing your story of miracles with a joyful song.
²³ Some of us set sail upon the sea to faraway ports,
transporting our goods from ship to shore.
²⁴ We were witnesses of God’s power out in the ocean deep;
we saw breathtaking wonders upon the high seas.
²⁵ When God spoke he stirred up a storm,
lifting high the waves with hurricane winds.
^26–27 Ships were tossed by swelling sea, rising to the sky,
then dropping down to the depths,
reeling like drunkards, spinning like tops,
everyone at their wits’ end until even sailors despaired of life,
cringing in terror.
²⁸ Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And he did!
²⁹ God stilled the storm, calmed the waves,
and he hushed the hurricane winds to only a whisper.
³⁰ We were so relieved, so glad as he guided us
safely to harbor in a quiet haven.
³¹ So LIFT UP YOUR HANDS AND GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR HIS MARVELOUS KINDNESS AND FOR ALL HIS MIRACLES OF MERCY FOR THOSE HE LOVES!
³² Let’s exalt him on high and lift up our praises in public;
let all the people and the leaders of the nation know
how great and wonderful is Yahweh, our God!
³³ Whenever he chooses he can dry up a river
and turn the land into a desert.
³⁴ Or he can take a fruitful land and make it into a saltwater swamp,
all because of the wickedness of those who dwell there.
³⁵ But he also can turn a barren wilderness into an oasis with water!
He can make springs flow into desert lands
³⁶ and turn them into fertile valleys so that cities spring up,
and he gives it all to those who are hungry.
³⁷ They can plant their fields and vineyards there
and reap a bumper crop and gather a fruitful harvest.
³⁸ God will bless them and cause them to multiply and prosper.
³⁹ But others will become poor,
humbled because of their oppression, tyranny, and sorrows.
⁴⁰ For God pours contempt upon their arrogant abuse of power,
heaping scorn upon their princes,
and makes them wander among ruins.
⁴¹ But he raises up the poor and lowly with his favor,
giving them a safe place to live where no one can touch them.
God will grant them a large family and bless them!
⁴² The lovers of God will rejoice when they see this.
Good men are glad when the evil ones are silenced.
⁴³ If you are truly wise, you’ll learn from what I’ve told you.

of God’s great love and mercy!

QUINTESSENTIAL EXAMPLE OF ASCENSION IN CHRIST

The quintessential illustration of Ascension in Christ is Yeshua’s (Jesus) example in Ephesians Chapter 4. “Therefore it say, ‘When He ascended on, He led captive a host of captives, and He gave gifts to men.’ (Now this expression, ‘He ascended,’ what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things” (Ephesians 4:8-10 _NASB).

 Notice how Messiah Yeshua first descended before He ascended. A believer in Messiah Yeshua first descends to the Kingdom of God within them through Christ’s Cross, which should cause introspection. This examining of ourselves according to the plumb line of the Messiah is meant to cause an inner transformation of our Kingdom of God within (Luke 17:21). Being crucified in union with Christ is key to recovering our treasures in darkness. A person who descends to their Kingdom of God within goes to the current level that person operates in and from. Always remember that Yeshua is our Pattern Son. Ascension in Christ has been purchased fully by Yeshua by the price He paid on the cross. The key to rightly doing Ascension in Christ is being “in Christ.” We teach people ascending with Mystic Mentoring to always… always… always… (Did I say always?) go through the cross by the Blood of the Lamb into Messiah Yeshua Himself; and then ascend by the Blood to focus on the perfect will (heart) of our Heavenly Father, just like Yeshua did (John 5:19). GREAT EXPLOITS OF GREATER WORKS

Did you know that Almighty God has a hand sandwich? Seriously! That’s what He told me! It’s like the Father and the Son (made up of the Mature Head Messiah Yeshua and His Mature Body — us) joining hands to do His greater works:

• “Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him GREATER WORKS than these, that you may marvel” (John 5:19-20 NKJV).

• “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. Most assuredly, I say to you, HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME, THE WORKS THAT I DO HE WILL DO ALSO; AND GREATER WORKS THAN THESE HE WILL DO, because I go to My Father” (John 14:11-12 NKJV).

In this Kingdom Day, sons of righteousness will do great exploits of greater works for the King of Kings. Recall from the previous MELCHIZEDEK ARISING post that the Hebrew word ‘arak (ORDER) holds valuable keys about how the Corporate One New Man in Christ (those of the Order of Melchizedek) operates. Please note that the Corporate One New Man in Christ is composed of mature or maturing sons, and one of the places that the Order of Melchizedek operates out of is the Tabernacle of David.

The next Scripture that we will look at that contains ‘arak ORDER is the chapter of First Samuel 17. It’s major that ‘arak is used three times in this chapter (1 Samuel 17: 2, 8, 21). Pay attention when something is repeated three times in Scripture, because God is pointing to what is solid, real, essential, perfect, substantial, complete and divine. Each occurrence of ‘arak ORDER in First Samuel 17 speaks of “the battle in array (i.e. order),” which significantly points to the wings of God’s End-Time Melchizedek Army flying by the Spirit with one another. Every time that I have been involved in a Group Ascension involving Melchizedek there has been a militant aspect to it. Did you know that His kings and priests are Reigning Ones who are also His flaming fire army (Revelation 1:4-6; Revelation 5:8-10; Joel 2:1-5; Psalms 104:3-4)?

David’s battle with Goliath is the highlight of First Samuel 17. Even though Yeshua is the Pattern Son for the Order of Melchizedek, King David is a very important prototype of a prophet, priest and king (Psalms 110:4), so take notice when David is on the scene – whether you are reading about David or something he wrote in the book of Psalms. For IT’S TIME FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID!!!

• “ ‘After these things I will return, And I will rebuild the Tabernacle (Tent) of David which has fallen, and I will rebuild its ruins, And I will restore it, so that the rest of mankind may seek YHVH , and all the Gentiles who are called by My name,’ says YHVH, who makes things known from long ago” (Acts 15:16).

• “A Psalm of David. O YHVH, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy hill? He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, and speaks truth in his heart” (Psalm 15:1-2 NASB).

Most of us are familiar with the story of David and Goliath. Let’s see a fresh new perspective looking through the lens of David being a prototype of the One New Man in the Messiah (Christ) according to the Order of Melchizedek.

Let’s first paint a picture of the enemy personified in Goliath and other Philistines in Scripture. I asked LOVE for insight into the Philistine Spirit, and right before I sat down to write this article, He asked me to sleep a little while longer and He gave me a prophetic dream. This dream portrayed the Philistine Spirit as a glitzy system seducing people with the pleasures of this world. My Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines a Philistine as a person who is guided by materialism. In the dream, the seduction came in the form of a piece of decadent chocolate cake that was being offered in the midst of an exquisite 5-star restaurant that was somehow associated with a gorgeous hunk of a man. Once a person took the cake bait, this Philistine System used drunkenness and more lust to entrap them. It was an extremely difficult state to wake-up from, let alone break free from. Those who did resist the lusts of the eyes, the lusts of the flesh and the lusts of the world found themselves on the receiving end of a system that tries to ruin their lives. Some even were driven inconsolably mad. Those who succeed in breaking free of the worldly seduction found themselves intimidated with threats of death and were extorted financially. At the finale of my dream, I had to take authority over some vicious dogs that the Philistine Spirit loosed to hunt us down. BTW – When Goliath first saw the chosen man of Israel, he looked upon him with disdain and remarked: “Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks?” and Goliath cursed the man after God’s own heart by his Babylonian gods (1 Samuel 17:43).

The Corporate One New Man in Christ is the chosen man to fight this giant worldly system. They will rise up early after a time of testing according to their Father’s command (1 Samuel 17:16,20). They will be sons who feed their Father’s sheep manna at the House of Bread (1 Samuel 17:15). In this Kingdom Day, the promise to the Corporate One New Man who spiritually conquers and kills the Philistine Champion is that they will received great riches from the King Himself, they will be free in Israel (Is-real), and then they will be given the King’s daughter – the Bride of Christ – which also can mean that these ones actually become Christ’s Bride.

Even though Abraham and Isaac agreed to a covenant of kindness with Abimelech the King of the Philistines, the Philistines were a recurring threat and became an arch-enemy of Israel (Genesis 21, 26).

In the Tabernacle of David, the Corporate One New Man of the Order of Melchizedek will draw near the uncircumcised (faithless) Philistine with His shepherd staff and His sling in his hands with five smooth stones of grace taken from the place of being washed by the water of the word (1 Samuel 17:40; Ephesians 5:26). Remember that the Blood of Yeshua cleanses us from sin while the applied Word of God cleanses us from the world. The Philistine Giant will arise and come near to meet the Corporate One New Man in personal combat. As the Davidic Order of Melchizedek in our day runs toward the army to meet the Philistine, he will sling a stone to strike this Giant of the World. It will strike this uncircumcised Philistine in the forehead, and our foe will fall on his face to the earth like Dagon did before the Ark of the Covenant (1 Samuel 5:4).

This singular stone isn’t any old stone. The Hebrew word for stone is even. It is akin to two Hebrew words av for father and ben for son. It carries the nuance of the Father AND the Son. Basically, this stone that kills the giant of the world communicates the reality of when you see the Father, you see the Son, and vice versa.

The Corporate One New Man’s defeat of this faithless Philistine is so that all the earth may know that Yah is in Israel. When the Mighty Man of Valor – David – killed the one that all of Israel was afraid of, the king sent for him and asked him one question: “WHOSE SON ARE YOU?” This is the question being asked of God’s people today. David answered: “I am the son of your servant Jesse the Bethlehemite” (1 Samuel 17:58).

If we break the phrase “Jesse the Bethlehemite” down in Hebrew, it means the substance of the House of Bread. Therefore, David’s declaration that “I am the son of your servant Jesse the Bethlehemite” is HERALDING A TRUTH FOR OUR DAY THAT THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK IN THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID WILL LITERALLY MANIFEST THE SUBSTANCE OF THE HOUSE OF BREAD.

I dug a little deeper by looking at the Ancient Hebrew Word Picture for the name “Jesse.” When I first saw the Hebrew letters yood-shin-yood, my first thought was shin is the letter that represents El Shaddai (i.e., The Almighty One). Then I contemplated that the Hebrew letter “yood” is a picture of a hand, and symbolizes to work or a deed done. What drew my attention is that the letter “yood” appears on each side of the shin. That’s when LOVE spoke to me about the Son of Jesse shows us the picture of the Almighty having a hand sandwich. It’s the personification of John 5:19: “the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.”

When I looked into the other spelling for “Jesse” in Hebrew (yood-shin-alef), another Ancient Hebrew Word Picture forms, which dovetails with the Hebrew word for “stone.” Being a son of Jesse speaks of the Father and the Son (His Mature Head Yeshua connected to His Mature Body) joining hands to go great exploits of greater works. These aren’t any old works, but completed faith like Abraham where one’s works lined up with one’s faith (James 2:22). It’s time to do the GREATER WORKS people!!! In this Kingdom Day, the Order of Melchizedek will do exactly what they see their Father doing bringing heavenly realities to earth. Through Him who sits on the throne, we will reign on earth; and through faithfully following Him, we will do great exploits of greater works.

“Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEIR GOD SHALL BE STRONG, AND CARRY OUT GREAT EXPLOITS” (Daniel 11:32 NKJV).

GREAT SCHOOL IN THE FIRMAMENT

The only Temple that Scriptures says will be rebuilt is the Tabernacle of David. King David flew in the spirit as prophet, priest and king. One of the places connected to him in the Hebrew Hekhalot literature is the “Great School which is in the Firmament.”

“When David went up to the Great School which is in the Firmament, there was set for him a throne of fire which was forty parasangs in height and double in length and double in breadth. And when David came and sat upon his throne which was prepared for him opposite the throne of his Creator (and all the kings of the house of David sit before him, and all the kings of the house of Israel stand behind him) at once David arose and uttered songs and praises [such as] ear hath not heard from [the creation of] the world. And when David began and said, ‘The Lord shall rule forever; thy God, Zion, to all generations, Hallelujah!’ Metatron and all his servants began and said, ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts, all the earth is full of His glory,’ and the beasts praise God saying, ‘Blessed be the glory of the Lord from His [dwelling] place,’ and the Firmaments say, ‘The LORD shall reign forever,’ and all the earth saith, ‘The Lord has been King, the Lord is King, the Lord shall be King, forever and ever,’ and all the kings of the house of David say, ‘The Lord shall be King over all the earth, in that day shall the Lord be ONE and His Name One.’” (Hekhalot Rabbati, 126)

Hekhalot is the Hebrew word for “palaces” and relates to visions of ascents into heavenly palaces. Hekhalot literature is based upon earlier sources, including traditions about the heavenly ascents of Enoch found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. Hekhalot Rabbati means “Greater Palaces,” which details an ascent of Rabbi Ishmael.

THE “AGES TO COME” IS NOW!!!

The “ages to come” is now!!!

“And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the AGES TO COME He might show exceeding riches of His grace, in His kindness toward us, through Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6-7).

Behold, a New Kingdom Age with the banner of the Order of Melchizedek is here. It is now. Three ancient stars – Paul the Apostle, King David and Melchizedek – are connected to one another, and are imparting gemstone prisms in this hour for the restoration of our world(s) back to its original design.

The Melchizedek Army is marching. The Army of Melchizedek is getting out their rods to rule in Christ. King David is passing the baton to run this race that has been ordained since the beginning of time:

“Therefore, seeing we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which does so easily beset us, and LET US RUN WITH PATIENCE THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE US, and let us look to Jesus, who was the author and the perfecter of our faith, and who, instead of the joy which He could have had, endured the cross, suffered shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:1-2 Lamsa’s Aramaic).

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork. Day after day utters speech, and night after night shows knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their good news has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. He has set his tabernacle in the sun among them. And he is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and REJOICES AS A STRONG MAN TO RUN A RACE. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends thereof; and there is nothing hid from the mist of His breath. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the LOR is trustworthy, making wise the young men. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The reverence of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever; the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. They are more to be coveted than gold; yea, than precious stones; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned; and if He keep them he shall be greatly rewarded. Who can understanding stumbling? Cleanse thou me from secret faults. Spare thy servant also from presumptuous sins, lest the evil ones have dominion over me; then shall I be cleansed from my sins. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my helper and my Saviour” (Psalm 19:1-14 Lamsa’s Aramaic).
