VAIN WORSHIP

Recently, I was studying the topics surrounding the concept of the Lamb of God slain before the foundation of the world. I was reminded of a critical point – Christ redeeming us from our fruitless traditions and vain worship.

I googled the definition of “vain” from several sources and put them all together.

VAIN ~adj : fruitless : lacking substance or worth : worthless : having no real value : without real significance : marked by futility : concern for one’s appearance (self) : showing excessive pride : proceeding from pride : having too high an opinion of oneself (exalt self)

The definition of “vain” that stood out to me the most was: having no real value. What makes one’s worship have no real value? According to Scripture: “making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down” (Mark 7:13 _NKJV). Therefore, it behooves us all to examine all our traditions that have been handed down to us and we hand down to our progeny according to the plumbline of God’s Word.

When Jesus (Yeshua) was confronted by the Pharisees about His disciples not following the traditions of the elders in Jerusalem, “He answered and said to them, ‘Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. ⁷ And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ⁸ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men … ¹³ making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down” (Mark 7:6-8,13 _NKJV).

Just as the Pharisees added to the Word of God the traditions of the elders, so has most of modern Christianity. It has been a long held tradition to celebrate Jesus Christ’s birth during the Christmas season (off and on since the Fourth Century); but it’s a man-made tradition that started out as an effort to link paganism and Christianity.

The “official” Catholic Church assigned Yeshua (Jesus) the human quality of a birthday in the fourth century, so that they could assimilate the largest heretical sect in the world called Arianism. At the time, Arianism (with an “i” not a “y”) regarded Jesus solely as a human agent, which meant they believed Jesus was not God. The “official” institutional church proclaimed that Jesus was not God in its endorsement of Christmas while still proclaiming that Jesus sustained His place in the Holy Trinity. Some people call this speaking with forked tongue. The Babylonian fingerprints of mixture and confusion are all over Jesus’ birthday celebration.

The fact of Jesus’ virgin birth is too precious to cheapen by assimilating it with the pagan traditions. This type of mixture is Satan’s formula, not Christ’s.

Just remember that the Lord our God created us to love celebrations. God created beauty. He created fun. He also created us with the capacity for addiction, so we could be totally and utterly devoted to Him. When our God-given capacity for addiction becomes twisted through our fleshly appetites, disaster and destruction are its results.

Unfortunately, Christmas appears to fit God’s classification of vain worship according to His Word. We merely need to examine the term “Christmas” to see this reality. HOW TO COME OUT OF BABYLON

One of the ascended spiritual gifts is knowing something in your inward being when you spend time in His Presence. I call it an intuitive “knowing in your knower.” A few days ago, I knew in my knower that there is only a little time left to come out of Babylon to not share in her plagues (Revelation 18:1-5).  

A great question that sprung out of sharing that there is only a little time left to come out of Babylon to not share her plagues was: “Where do we go to escape?” Or in other words: “How do I come out of Babylon?” The simplest answer is: Yeshua (Jesus). We each need to come into full agreement with the Word of God – Messiah Yeshua – in thought, word, and deed to the best of our ability in order to resonate at His frequency. Another way to put it is that believers need to return to their first love by letting Him have all of you (all you are and all you do), which means that His righteous and just plumb line will measure everything in your life according to His Biblical standards because He loves you and wants the very best for you.

Please don’t forget about the great grace that our Lord and Savior offers in this painful and beautiful quest. Due to the difficulty (sometimes extreme difficulty) of dying to our own carnal nature (i.e., our flesh, ourselves and our own way), I say a delightfully dangerous heartfelt prayer: “I side with you, Lord, even against myself. Teach me your truth and ways.” Additionally, don’t forget about our Helper and Comforter who has been given to lead us into all truth. I would suggest that you add to your prayers a request to the Holy Spirit – His Spirit of Truth – to convict me of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). This is basically a Davidic heart cry to “search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psalms 139:23-24 _NKJV), which when fulfilled creates a clean heart and renews a steadfast spirit within (Psalms 51:10).

To understand why I say that Messiah Yeshua is the simplest answer to coming out of Babylon, we need to grasp that Babylon can be equated to the Kingdom of Self as well as the Satanic Kingdom while our Beloved is all about the Kingdom of God. Know that Yeshua equated coming out of Babylon to laying down Christmas when He visited me in-person; therefore, Babylonian plagues are connected to its practices. Now, He has told you too.

At the time, Yeshua told me in-person to come out of Babylon and lay down Christmas so I could be part of His Pure and Spotless Bride, I loved everything about Christmas; because I had justified any wrong I saw in it by whitewashing the celebration by saying and believing that Jesus was/is the reason for the season. Yet, here He was in the flesh telling me that Christmas grieved His heart and I needed to lay it down to come out of Babylon. Wow! Talk about earth shattering!

In 1998, Babylon was a foreign concept to me. Through the years the Lord has shown me various aspects of Babylon, including sensual, material motivation (merchandising), sun god worship (Christmas), witchcraft (sorcery), and death. Christmas is not the only Babylonian practice and mindset that we need to come out of. For instance, celebrating the Biblical New Year in the seventh month (Tishri) is also Babylonian. Like I said, Christmas is not the only Babylonian practice and mindset that we need to come out of, but it is probably the hardest to discern and come out of due it is being the world’s sacred cow. GOLDEN CALF TRIPLES: Hinderances & Helps for Heaven Overlaying Earth

The catastrophe of the Golden Calf was precipitated by some very tragic errors. The first (and perhaps the biggest) error was that the people were looking more to the messenger of God – Moses – than to God Himself. Remember that the first commandment of the Big Ten to a Hebrew is to have faith in God’s existence and that He is eternal with complete, unfettered power: “I am HASHEM, your God, who has taken you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery” (Exodus 20:2).

The second error was the peoples’ expected outcome didn’t happen, so they turned to themselves and their own desires. When Moses ascended Mount Sinai on the seventh of Sivan, he had told the people that He would be there forty days. The children of Israel had counted the day of Moses ascent as the first of the forty days; however, that’s not what happened. Moses was in God’s Presence on Mount Sinai a full forty days and forty nights, which meant he returned on the seventeenth of Tammuz. Please refer to http://wp.me/p158HG-kH.

When God’s entire nation unanimously and enthusiastically accepted everything that God had said, the Lord told Moses that He would speak to him from the midst of a thick cloud and all the people were able to hear His Divine Voice. Thus, they all knew that Almighty God spoke to Moses. Once the nation agreed to accept God’s Word, the Lord instructed Moses on how the people should prepare. This took place on the fourth of Sivan, which was the first of a three-day waiting period: “HASHEM said to Moses, ‘Go to the people and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and they shall wash their clothing, Let them be prepared for the third day, for on the third day HASHEM shall descend in the sight of the entire people on Mount Sinai” (Exodus 19:10-11).

The third day in Exodus Chapter 19 was the sixth of Sivan. However, due to the quirkiness of a Hebrew day being sundown to sundown, three full days was the seventh of Sivan, which some believe was the actual day that His Ketubah (Marriage Contract) of the Ten Commandments was given. Heralded by lightening, smoke, fire, shofar blasts and seeing the sound of thunder, God’s Presence descended upon Mount Sinai. The out-of-this-world stage was set for His holy nation of priests. God’s declaration of the Ten Commandments was experienced by millions of people – His people – who had heartily accepted God as their One and Only Beloved.

This marriage of Creator with those created in His image was to be the fulfillment of Creation itself – oneness of heaven and earth. As a result, there would have been no more death. Their mortality would take on immortality: “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory’” (1 Corinthians 15:53-54 NKJV). Thus, the world would have reverted to the perfection that existed at the beginning of Creation before The Fall. Alas, this perfected heavenly status on earth did not happen due to the grievous sin of the Golden Calf. The path of freedom from corruption was inscribed on the first Cubes of the Covenant (or as most people refer to them as the Tablets). They were an amazing and awe-inspiring physical embodiment of the Word of God, which was God’s own handiwork.

With the spiritual downfall of His Bride (i.e., God’s people), Moses was dismissed from his lofty perch in the Messiah – the Word of God – on the mountain of God. The term “revel” in the Exodus 32:6 phrase “The people sat to eat and drink, and they got up to revel,” implies that the people were guilty of three cardinal sins: idolatry, licentiousness (disregarding sexual restraints), and murder. They were copying the worship of the Golden Calf in Egypt where molten images, temple prostitution, and child sacrifice was commonly practiced on the birthday of the sun god, which was the ancient Winter Solstice of December 25th before the Roman shift in time. Here, they had manufactured a literal golden idol, had sex with one another, and had killed Hur who had attempted to restrain them.

We all know the story. When Moses smashed the “Tablets,” he destroyed God’s precious Marriage Contract with His people, which would not have been possible without supernatural enablement. The Sapphire Cubes of the Covenant (Original Ten Commandment Marriage Contract) signified a new and higher stage in God’s peoples standing that would have been reflected in their physical life as well. We are again at this juncture in history, so it would behoove us to pay attention to what stopped heaven overlaying on earth – the third dimension being overlaid with the fifth – the first time.

Never forget that the Ten Commandments in written form by the finger of God represents freedom from the evil inclination and from the Angel of Death. Sinai was Zion on the other side of the Cross of Christ. At Sinai, Is-real had elevated itself by choice to the level of Adam and Eve before they had sinned. Unfortunately, the earlier condition of spiritual and physical weakness returned.

There were three categories of punishment for the sin of the Golden Calf – the Golden Calf Triple. First were the people who were warned by witnesses to not serve any idol and they willfully did so anyway, which was punishable by the sword (Exodus 32:26-28). The radical and righteous tribe of Levites had joined Moses and were for God above their own countrymen. About three thousand men were decapitated that day. Willful idolatry speaks of how it separates the Head of the Messiah Yeshua from His Body: “And not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God” (Colossians 2:19 NKJV). “But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—” (Ephesians 4:15 NKJV).

The second category of punishment for the sin of the Golden Calf was a plague. These were the people who worshiped the Golden Calf intentionally before witnesses, but they were basically clueless. Hebrew Sages say that these people had not been officially warned. However, they must have known in their gut (instinctively), else they would not have been subjected to a plague (Deuteronomy 28:58-59). This is pretty much where the whole wide world is today. Notice that a plague includes His mercy where He gives people time to repent. God’s ultimate desire is that people return (teshuvah) to life and to love and to Him. God’s law of love informs all others: “‘Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?’ Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets’” (Matthew 22:36-40 NKJV).

The third punishment included all the people that vowed at Mount Sinai to marry Him: “Everything that HASHEM has spoken we shall do!” (Exodus 19:8). This group was the unfaithful. Their unfaithfulness was like an adulterous wife, so Moses imposed upon them the test of an accused adulteress – a sotah (Numbers 5:16-28). Please refer to http://wp.me/p158HG-EN. Moses had the unfaithful group drink some special water with which he had mixed in the defiled sparkly dust from the ground-up Golden Calf. This was meant to incite the people to confess their sin and truly turn from their wicked ways. Only those who worshiped the Golden Calf and did not confess their guilt had died like an unrepentant sotah who was guilty.

All of us have gone astray in one way or another, but never forget that we have an incredible Lord and Savior Messiah Yeshua who bore our griefs, our sorrows, our transgressions, our iniquities, our misery and our pain: “Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:4-6 NKJV). He is our sin-bearing Messiah who has made a way for the repentant when there was no way.

Don’t let the offering for sin of the soul of our loving Messiah be for naught (Isaiah 53:10-12). Remember that “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:8-9 NKJV).

The Days of Elul – the Season of Teshuvah – will always be connected to the Sacred Cow Catastrophe with Moses laboriously standing in the gap, so God would not wipe out the nation that He took out of Egypt (the world) so they could truly worship Him. Today is the day for repentance: “Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the latter days” (Hosea 3:5 NKJV). “Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth” (Hosea 6:1-3 NKJV).

CHERRY-RED MOLECH & THE PHYGIAN CAP

By request, I share the following excerpt from my book SANTA-TIZING: What’s wrong with Christmas and how to clean it up, page 109-110:

“Although Tophet is a different high place than Solomon’s Mount Olivet, they both were places where idols were exalted and God’s children were sacrificed to the same bloodthirsty gods east of Jerusalem.

Do you think that it’s a mere coincidence that enthroned Chemosh (worshiped by the Moabites), Mithra (from Persia, worshiped in Rome), and Tammuz (of Babylon fame) wore the same Phrygian cap as Santa Claus? In Michael Rood’s enlightening book The Pagan-Christian Connection Exposed, Truth vs. Tradition, he expounds that Chemosh was the pagan god of prosperity that was the same cast iron, pot-bellied god of their kin, the Ammonites, who was worshiped by the name of Molech or Moloch. At the time of the winter solstice on the ancient calendar, they had a public child mass. “Mass” literally means sacrifice in this context. “The priests stoked the iron image of the enthroned Chemosh with wood and burning pitch, which turned the idol into a cherry red furnace. Moabite people made long lists of their desires, and recited them to the god of prosperity just before they put their infant children into the red-hot lap of their god with his Phrygian cap. As the babies were incinerated during the December 25th child mass, the people were assured that their sacrifices would be rewarded in the coming year.” Michael Rood has an interesting perspective: “A month before the birthday of Tammuz (December 25th) we have our children make endless lists to a cherry-red pot-bellied god of prosperity, and then we place our terrified children in the lap of this god who wears his Phrygian cap and sits on his throne in the shopping malls.” Minimally, I believe that each Christmas we currently sacrifice our children’s well-being to gods of prosperity, creating the unrighteous dispositions of being demanding and spoiled. Am I the only parent to experience my child’s ungrateful complaint, “Is that it?” when he had just opened a boatload of gifts?

Baal or Moloch or Chemosh—the name may change, but their bloodthirsty appetite for the most acceptable offering of infants does not. “We have ample and melancholy evidence on this subject from the records of antiquity.” It was believed that human sacrifice to Baal held the key to prosperity. Therefore, selfish people desiring to live in ease brought their firstborn child to the high priest, where scholars say the child would be offered as a burnt offering to the deity. Recently, archaeologists unearthed a Baal cemetery containing the remains of more than twenty thousand children. “I will cut off from this place every remnant of Baal . . . those who bow down and swear by the LORD and who also swear by Molech” (Zeph. 1:4-5). The late Reverend Hislop’s extensive research led him to conclude: “Moloch and Roman Saturn have the same bloody character.” This fact is important in our analysis of Christmas being the golden calf of America. As you will discover later in this chapter, the church of Rome was unable to eradicate the heathen celebration of Saturnalia, so they slightly modified it and designated a Feast of the Nativity to be observed. ”

 As I was reading the book, I felt like I was listening to you speak out the words of Yahweh. I could actually see you in the spirit speaking the very words as I was reading them, and the presence of Holy Spirit was breathing life. It brought the very presence of the Lord into the room. TOGGLING BETWEEN DISORDER AND MATERIALISM (WHAT DOES HALLOWEEN HAVE TO DO WITH CHRISTMAS?)

Superstitious people were entertained by ghost stories as they futility tried to scare evil spirits away as they also scrutinized the shadows in the fire. Any headless shadow was supposed to foretell a person’s death. Doesn’t this sound like Halloween? But it’s not. It’s the Greek’s Yule Log Tradition that involves the Kallikantzaroi during the twelve days of Christmas. The Greeks believed that the Kallikantzaroi were forced underground most of the year, except for the 12 days of Christmas, when these ugly demons of chaos were believed to roam freely on the earth’s surface.

In Europe, the dark side of the bi-polar nature of Christmas has been more obvious. Christmas in our space-time continuum acts like a toggle switch once the dial hits one of two extremes. You will notice for several years now that the Christmas Toggle has been switching from materialism to disorder (i.e., chaos). Please pay attention to the December 4^th, 2015 release of the movie “Krampus.”

Not only does Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion and the Nightmare Before Christmas movie cleverly combine Christmas and Halloween, but so does your local department store. Haven’t you noticed how Christmas merchandise is mixed with Halloween paraphernalia? Have you also notice that Christmas and Halloween are the two top money-making holidays commercially speaking? This gives us one gigantic clue. Spiritually speaking, both Halloween and Christmas originate in a place where witches, warlocks and Kallikantzaroi feel at home in the deep darkness of, and on, earth.

There are deep spiritual connections between Halloween and Christmas. When Yeshua comes quickly with His rewards to give everyone according to their work (Revelation 22:12), the holidays/feasts that each person celebrates will be on His checklist. Therefore, it behooves us all to truly examine what we believe according to the plumb line of Scripture.

All faiths including followers of Buddha, Mohammed, Zoroaster, Brahmin, Confucius, and even unfortunately Jesus entertain these forces of darkness as they bow at one altar to unite in their sacrifice to Christmas. Amazingly, Satanist, Witches, and Pagans are worshiping the same Babylonian way that most Christians do.

Salvation is by grace through faith, but your eternal rewards are affected by your worship. In fact, one of the key elements to the Messiah’s Bride is her pure unadulterated worship. Every word and action matters. The Bible tells us that there is a way that seems right upon a man, but its end is death. Let us all truly examine the evidence that demands of verdict that Christmas does come from Babylon and God’s own people are supposed to come out of it. See how death, darkness, witchcraft, materialism and false sun god worship has been woven into the very inception of “Christmas.” Also see the way to come out of agreement with it all.
