GREATEST LOVE OF ALL – LAYING DOWN ONE’S LIFE

Have you ever thought about the greatest love of all?

Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus) tells us in John 15:13 – “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” Think about that for a moment. The greatest love of all is for a person to lay down their own life willingly for their friends, by sacrificing their time, energy, and possibly even life itself.

What comes to mind first and foremost is Yeshua willingly choosing to lay down His life for the whole wide world – you and I: “I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father” (John 10:14-18 NKJV).

The greatest love of laying down one’s life for his friend also fits with a series of three in Scripture, which applies to all kings and priests made after the Order of Melchizedek: ‘’And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” (Revelation 12:11 NKJV). We are in the culminating season “when salvation, and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of Christ have come” (Revelation 12:10). Or in other words, the greatest manifestation of God’s Kingdom is here at the same time that the Antichrist’s kingdom is arising: “for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down … Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time” (Revelation 12:10,12). But never fear one flock, our Great Shepherd has shown us the way to overcome. ‘’ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” (Revelation 12:11 NKJV). First, we apply the Blood of the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world to every situation (John 1:29). Then, we actualize the frequency of the Word of God in our own lives, which becomes the word of our testimony. Then, finally, we completely die to our own selves and our own ways, even to the point of giving up our own life for another.

Both of my parents exhibited the greatest love of all… laying down their lives for a friend. I have been marveling at this powerful gift and legacy. The passage surrounding John 15:13 probably sums it up the best: “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another” (John 15:9-17 NKJV).

Be fruitful and multiply this greatest overcoming love!

HEAR, UNDERSTAND. DO

Q: How do you manage to balance the inner internal personal deep relationship with God with the outward ministry to others? Jesus told us to go out to others (heal the sick, raise the dead, preach the Gospel). Sometimes I feel so self centered trying to get closer to Him that I question “shouldn’t I be more focused on others?”. But then again the closest and intimate I am with God the better I can actually minister to others. How do you deal with that dichotomy?

A: For me, it’s about the Hebraic concept of The Shema – hearing, understanding, and doing. Through my inner deepening relationship, His living waters flow. Therefore, I incline my ear to hear Him and His heart, because it is His heart for us to minister to others too, even more so than any of our desires. Once I hear, I like to have understanding before I am obedient; but I have given Him permission to do anything He’d like to do with me, even without my permission. Sooooo… I have an Ezekiel-like prophetic walk where many times I am doing things before I “know” what HE is doing through me. I would suggest keeping it simple. Trust and obey; and know that we go through cycles of focusing on deepening our relationship and focusing on ministering to others with our main focus (thing) always being the main thing — focusing on the Author and Perfecter of our faith — Messiah Yeshua.

REDEMPTION OF THE QUANTUM 22

Just as the Seven Spirits of God are to the Holy Spirit, so are the Hebrew Living™ Letters to the Word of God. Fundamentally, we understand that any word is made up of letters. Significantly, the Word of God is made up of twenty-two letters – 22 Hebrew Living™ Letters (HLL).

There are many hidden meanings behind the first verse in the Bible. One in particular focuses on a word that is seldom translated from Hebrew into any language. In English, we read Genesis 1:1 as: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” However, in Hebrew, it says: “Bereshit barà Elohim et hashamaim veet haaretz.” After the words “In the beginning God created” (Bereshit barà Elohim) and before the word “heaven” (hashamaim), there is the word “et.” The word “et” is composed of the Hebrew letters ALEF (‎א) and TAV (ת‎), which are the first and last letters of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. This is one of the reasons why the Hebrew Sages say that God created the Hebrew Alef-Bet first; and then, He used them to create heaven and earth.

Isaiah 44:6 heralds: Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and His Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: I am the first (ALEF) and I am the last (TAV), and there is no God besides Me.” “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). With the understanding that Messiah Yeshua declares in Revelation 1:8, “I am the Alpha (ALEF) and the Omega (TAV)… who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty,” we have a couple Scriptural witnesses that Yeshua, who is called the Word of God in Revelation 19:13, is also called the ALEF-TAV. Or as Scripture declares, “I AM the first (ALEF) and I AM the last (TAV), and there is no God besides Me.

“In the beginning God created ALEF-TAV (ת‎א) …” (Genesis 1:1). The individual spiritual forces contained within His Hebrew Living Letters™ are inherent in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ). They were birthed from His essential, intrinsic essence, which was originally included wholly in The Word. The first born of all creation is the very thing that constitutes every living substance. It is the protoplasm of the universe. It is the individual spiritual forces that originally belonged, and still belong, to the nature of Christ. The first born of all creation is the letters of the Word of God – the twenty-two HLL from ALEF (‎א) TO TAV (ת‎).

2022 is a year to redeem all things. Messiah Yeshua, along with our Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit, are focusing at a quantum level on the building blocks of Creation – the twenty-two Hebrew Living Letters™. Anything that can be shaken will be, so that His perfect and pure Kingdom can remain:

“See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:25-29 NKJV).
