LOOK UP FOR INSPIRATION & PROTECTION

The destruction of Notre-Dame Cathedral has many prophetic pictures to it. A pronounced one is that the foundation of all false worship (within the institutional church and without) is crashing down… so the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords who is the Great High Priest of the Order of Melchizedek – Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) – can be lifted up, so all people can behold I AM and come to the perfect heart of the Love of our Heavenly Father.

Even though I admire the artistry of the Notre-Dame Cathedral, my spirit has always been disturbed by the gargoyles on any supposed House of God. We are told that the idea is that the gargoyles scare off evil spirits. The artist(s) are said to have seen evil spirits; and then, they created even scarier ones. If it truly is a righteous House of God, wouldn’t the artists look up for inspiration and protection, not down?

I believe that the extremely gross gargoyles also point to another incredible truth. The original site of Notre-Dame Cathedral was the Temple of Jupiter who was a Greek sun god equivalent to Zeus. Jupiter’s influence appears to be still evident at Notre-Dame.

At least two things point to the less-than-holy influence of Jupiter:

[2] Christmas worship, which is still grievously connected to Jupiter. A reminder for all of us: You and I cannot cast out/be victorious over things that we are in agreement with. With this in mind, we all need to consider that the celebration of Christmas is a form of worship still connected to the pagan sun god Jupiter. Throughout antiquity all pagan sun gods’ birthdays have been celebrated on the ancient winter solstice – December 25th. This is the exact day that the Anti-Christ prophesied by Daniel – Antiochus Epiphanes IV – erected the pagan sun god statue of Jupiter on God’s Altar defiling it. Easter has as much pagan-Christian mixture as all the Roman holidays, which includes Christmas. Originally, in 526 AD, Dionysis Exiguus insisted that the reckoning from the incarnation served solely to locate his Easter cycles in time. Anno Domini owed its custom to people recording significant events in the blank spaces of calendars. Harmless it seems; but the church (man) has had to work extremely hard to perpetuate worshiping God through mixed means and measures. It’s too bad that the church hasn’t always stuck to God’s biblical calendar. It is the spirit of the Antichrist, which intends first to change God’s appointed times and then His laws. “He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws” (Daniel 7:25).

END OF RELIGION AS WE HAVE KNOWN IT

“Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:28-29 _NASB).

During the Holy Week for Christianity, the world has witnessed Notre-Dame Cathedral being consumed by a raging, prolonged 15-hour fire on April 15, 2019. The number “15” can represent great grace, as in “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts. For who are you, O great mountain [of human obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel [who Joshua had led the return of the exiles from Babylon and was undertaking the rebuilding of the Temple, before him] you shall become a plain [a mere molehill]! And he shall bring forth the finishing gable stone [of the new temple] with loud shoutings of the people, crying, Grace, grace to it!” (Zechariah 4:6-7 _Amplified). 

There are several prophetic pictures that the Lord has been showing me, which all point to the end of religion as we have known it.

What we are going to mainly zero-in on is the prophetic picture of the destruction of the flèche, which is the timber spire over the crossing and most of the lead-covered wooden roof above the stone vaulted ceiling.

First, let’s note that Notre-Dame is one of the most widely recognized symbols of Paris, France and Christianity. It’s significant that it is the cathedral for the Archdiocese of Paris (Catholic) and the most visited monument in Paris. The Notre-Dame Cathedral has been consecrated to the Virgin Mary. If you do your research, you will discover that most of the iconography of the Catholic Virgin Mary is connected to the Babylonian Queen of Heaven. Therefore, one of the first prophetic pictures we see is the destruction of false Babylonian worship, so that the true Queen of Heaven – the Bride of Christ – can manifestly worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth while leaning on her Beloved Bridegroom and Messiah.

Secondly, note that Notre-Dame burned down exactly 777 years after publicly burning sacred Jewish writings. During the infamous Disputation of Paris in 1240, Jewish writing were charged with numerous blasphemies against Jesus and Christianity. As a result, thousands of meticulously-handwritten manuscripts were burned in a great bonfire at Place de Greve (a square right by Notre-Dame) on the behest of Pope Gregory IX and King Louis IX – the religious and political heads in their day.

As in many cathedrals, Notre-Dame displays the figures of Ecclesia and Synagoga. These two female figures are a personification of the Christian Church (Ecclesia) and the Jewish Synagogue (Synagoga). Notre-Dame’s carvings of Ecclesia is a crowned woman holding the communion cup and other Christian symbols while Synagoga is blindfolded by a snake with a fallen crown at her feet and the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments slipping from her hand.

This is where the destruction of the flèche (the timber spire over the crossing) and most of the lead-covered wooden roof above the stone vaulted ceiling comes in.

A spire on a Gothic Church is a steeply pointed pyramid structure that sits over a tower. When it was built, the spire was the highest point in the city, which symbolized its religious superiority and dominion – a high place of the kingdoms of man. Notably, the word “spire” comes from an Old English word spir, and means a sprout, shoot or a slack of grass.

“’Comfort, yes, comfort My people! Says your God. ‘Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, … The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and very mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; the glory of the LORD shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.’ … THE GRASS WITHERS, the flower fades, BUT THE WORD OF OUR GOD STANDS FOREVER.’ O Zion, You who bring good tidings, get up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, You who bring good tiding, lift up your voice with strength, lift it up, be not afraid; say to the cities of Judah, ‘Behold your God!” (Isaiah 40:1-9 _NKJV).

 The destruction of the spire over the crossing and the lead-covered ceiling symbolizes a crossing over into a new day for the One New Man in Christ. The Messiah’s Body of Believers are both Jew and Gentile, and so is His Pure and Spotless Bride.

When I visited Israel, I could feel Messiah Yeshua in the Bible-believing Jews. I struggled with this, because I was taught that Jews needed to first come to Jesus in order to come to the Father. After seeking Him diligently for months, one day Yeshua told me: “You know if you see Jesus, you have seen the Father. Don’t you think that it works the other way  too?” Wow! Talking about paradigm-changing, mind-altering truth! If you know Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ), you know the Father, and if you know the Father, you know the Messiah.  Behold, what was bought at the Cross is now culminating in order for His Pure and Spotless Bride to be fully clothed with white and clean linens (Revelation 19:7-8).

It’s time for the man-made lead-covered ceiling to be removed. It’s time for the snake’s covering to be removed Synagoga – Jewish People.  It’s time for all believers to pick up the Ten Commandments – the entire Word of God. It’s time for the Spirit of Stupor to be removed and the fulfillment of the One New Man in Christ (Messiah) in its fullness.

“For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead” (Romans 11:15 _NASB).

PARABLE OF 10 VIRGINS

Becoming part of God’s pure and spotless Bride doesn’t just automatically happen.

Have you ever considered the parable in Matthew 25 about the ten virgins? Virgins are believers via the Blood of the Lamb through the reception of the gospel of salvation. The gospel of the kingdom of heaven tells us that there were five wise virgins and five foolish ones who did not accompany the Heavenly Bridegroom into His marriage. While the foolish virgins had the door shut to them, the wise virgins went in because they had made themselves ready (Matt 25:10-12).

How did these blood-bought Wise Ones make themselves ready? Rev 19:7-8 tells us that the Lamb’s wife, the Bride (Rev 21:7) makes herself ready via righteousness.

The root meaning behind the Hebrew word for “righteousness” speaks that it’s a State of Being. To be or not to be really is the right question. The Messiah’s Bride will resonate at the same frequency as her Heavenly Bridegroom. Those things in our lives that are not plumb with God’s measuring line of righteousness (according to His Word) will cause us to resonate at a lower frequency than a pure & spotless one.

After several months of studying the concept of “righteousness” in the Bible, I concluded that the topic was so huge that it’s appears to be almost endless AND the bottom line for the Bride Company being formed here on earth is that James 2:21-23 shows us that “completed faith” or “perfect faith” is reckoned by God as righteous. It’s where a believer has matured into a full age son in a particular area of their lives where they have become an actual manifestation of the Living Word. It’s a place where these people’s actions line up with their words as well as with God’s Eternal Word.

Twice Scripture declares to end-time believers how to persevere: “they that keep the commandment of God, AND the faith of Yeshua – Jesus” (Rev 14:12). In fact, Rev 12:17 shows us that the children of the woman who appears in the sky crowned with the government of God (12 stars) and clothed with the sun (His Spirit) with the moon (her soul) under her feet is a picture of the Bride of Christ and her children that are made in the same image are those who “keep the commandments of God, AND have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” BTW – When we begin to see and enter God’s Kingdom (John 3:3,5), we have faith in Jesus; but when we begin to inherit the kingdom (1 Cor 6:9-10; Gal 5: 19-21), we will have the faith of Jesus, or in other words have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

What commandments are Rev 12:17 & Rev 14:12 talking about? That’s a huge discussion in and of itself, but please allow me to point out the actual commandments given to all believers at the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15. I call them “The Essential Commandments for all Believers, because Acts 15:28 points out that fact.

The Essential Commandments for All Believers are listed three times in Scripture. They are so important that they were mentioned twice when the founding church fathers discussed what the nations (Gentiles) needed to do to become part of God’s Household – Acts 15:19-20; Acts 15:28-29; Acts 21:25. Please don’t make light of these instructions, because in reality they are abstinence requirements that preserve the sanctity of holy matrimony for the Bride of Christ. These holiness requirements demonstrate a believer’s rejection of idolatry (wrongly focused worship) that still applies to us today. We just somehow lost track of these crucial commandments that are indispensable to making His Bride ready.

The restoration of this age-old foundation of The Essential Commandments for All Believers will require diligence, humility and teachability. Once the spirit of understanding comes, faithful friends will be required to come into agreement with the Way & the Truth & the Life and His Word by righteously aligning ones own words and deeds.
