REDEMPTION OF THE QUANTUM 22

Just as the Seven Spirits of God are to the Holy Spirit, so are the Hebrew Living Letters™ to the Word of God. Fundamentally, we understand that any word is made up of letters. Significantly, the Word of God is made up of twenty-two letters – 22 Hebrew Living Letters™ (HLL).

There are many hidden meanings behind the first verse in the Bible. One in particular focuses on a word that is seldom translated from Hebrew into any language. In English, we read Genesis 1:1 as: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” However, in Hebrew, it says: “Bereshit barà Elohim et hashamaim veet haaretz.” After the words “In the beginning God created” (Bereshit barà Elohim) and before the word “heaven” (hashamaim), there is the word “et.” The word “et” is composed of the living letters ALEF (‎א) and TAV (ת‎), which are the first and last letters of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. This is one of the reasons why the Hebrew Sages say that God created the Hebrew Alef-Bet first; and then, He used them to create heaven and earth.

Isaiah 44:6 heralds: Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and His Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: I am the first (ALEF) and I am the last (TAV), and there is no God besides Me.” “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). With the understanding that Messiah Yeshua declares in Revelation 1:8, “I am the Alpha (ALEF) and the Omega (TAV)… who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty,” we have a couple Scriptural witnesses that Yeshua, who is called the Word of God in Revelation 19:13, is also called the ALEF-TAV. Or as Scripture declares, “I AM the first (ALEF) and I AM the last (TAV), and there is no God besides Me.

“In the beginning God created ALEF-TAV (ת‎א) …” (Genesis 1:1). The individual spiritual forces contained within His Hebrew Living Letters™ are inherent in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ). They were birthed from His essential, intrinsic essence, which was originally included wholly in The Word. The first born of all creation is the very thing that constitutes every living substance. It is the protoplasm of the universe. It is the individual spiritual forces that originally belonged, and still belong, to the nature of Christ. The first born of all creation is the letters of the Word of God – the twenty-two HLL from ALEF (‎א) TO TAV (ת‎).

2022 is a year to redeem all things. Messiah Yeshua, along with our Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit, are focusing at a quantum level on the building blocks of Creation – the twenty-two Hebrew Living Letters™. Anything that can be shaken will be, so that His perfect and pure Kingdom can remain:

“See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:25-29 NKJV).

HEBREW LIVING LETTER ™ – KOOF – EMANATION OF HOLINESS

“I cry out with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord! I will keep Your statutes. I cry out to You; Save me, and I will keep Your testimonies. I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word. My eyes are awake through the night watches, that I may meditate on Your word. Hear my voice according to Your lovingkindness; O Lord, revive me according to Your justice. They draw near who follow after wickedness; They are far from Your law. You are near, O Lord, and all Your commandments are truth. Concerning Your testimonies, I have known of old that You have founded them forever.” (Psalms 119:145-152 NKJV).

KOOF, KUF, or QOPH (ק‎) is the nineteenth letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. It has the numerical value of 100. The way that the letter KOOF (ק‎) is drawn agrees with its meaning: the back of the head. The ancient Hebrew pictograph of the back of the head symbolizes what is behind, what is last, what is final, and what is least.

Two Hebrew Living Letters ™ – REYSH (ר‎) and ZAYIN (ז) – combine to form the letter KOOF. ZAYIN is to the left and descends below the line while REYSH is to the right and hovers above it. The paradoxical union symbolized by these two components of KOOF is the secret of “there is none holy as God” (1 Samuel 2:2). KOOF (ק‎) conveys the message that God is supremely exalted and holy. Therefore, KOOF stands for kedushah – holiness. The descending ZAYIN of the letter KOOF symbolizes His Presence being grasped in all worlds. Together, REYSH and ZAYIN spells the Hebrew word “raz” – a mystery. “And without controversy GREAT IS THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS: was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory” (1 Timothy 3:16 NKJV).

Of all the letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, KOOF is symbolically the lowest. Therefore, KOOF signifies the emulation of holiness on earth. “Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Give to the Lord, O families of the peoples, Give to the Lord glory and strength. Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come into His courts. Oh, worship the Lord in the BEAUTY OF HOLINESS! Tremble before Him, all the earth. Say among the nations, ‘The Lord reigns; The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously.’ Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; Let the sea roar, and all its fullness; Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it. Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice before the Lord. For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth” (Psalms 96:6-13 NKJV).

“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:23-24 NKJV).

“PURSUE peace with all people, and HOLINESS, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled” (Hebrews 12:14-15 NKJV).

When the letter KOOF precedes the letter TZADIK, the Hebrew word “keitz” is formed, which means the “end” of time. This hints at the verse: “He has set an end [keitz] to darkness, and searches out all perfection” (Job 28:3). The “end,” as in the coming of the Messiah and the subsequent era of resurrection, is the ultimate revelation of the great light and latent energy present within the secret of the Hebrew Living Letter ™ KOOF (ק‎). It is not merely a coincidence that the Hebrew word for “east” is connected to KOOF too. “For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be (Matthew 24:27 NKJV).

KOOF (ק‎) is equivalent to 100. The number 100 is the perfection of a 10 x 10 square. 100 is the numerical value for “promise” due to Abraham was 100 years old when Sarah gave birth to his son of promise – Isaac. 100 is also said to be the life span of an eagle.

HEBREW LIVING LETTER ™ – PEY – GIVING INSIGHT EXPRESSION

“Your testimonies are wonderful; Therefore my soul keeps them. The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. I opened my mouth and panted, For I longed for Your commandments. Look upon me and be merciful to me, As Your custom is toward those who love Your name. Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me. Redeem me from the oppression of man, That I may keep Your precepts. Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes. Rivers of water run down from my eyes, Because men do not keep Your law” (Psalms 119:129-136 NKJV).

PEY, PEI, or PE (פ) is the seventeenth letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. It has the numerical value of 80. The ancient pictograph for PEY (פ) resembles a mouth, which symbolizes to speak, to open, or the beginning (like a river). PEY can also mean: word(s), expression, speech, declarations, decrees, etc. “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones” (Proverbs 16:24 NKJV).

PEY (פ) follows AYIN (ע) in the Hebrew Alphabet. The eye perceives and then the mouth expresses a thought. This suggests the priority of seeing and understanding before you speak. “The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel: To know wisdom and instruction, To perceive the words of understanding, To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, judgment, and equity; To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion— A wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel, To understand a proverb and an enigma, The words of the wise and their riddles. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:1-7 NKJV).

Notice how the wicked speak from a selfish, twisted sense of understanding. “Lord, how long will the wicked, How long will the wicked triumph? They utter speech, and speak insolent things; All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. They break in pieces Your people, O Lord, and afflict Your heritage. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. Yet they say, ‘The Lord does not see, nor does the God of Jacob understand’” (Psalms 94:3-7 NKJV). When the spies returned from their reconnaissance of the Promise Land, ten of the twelve declared: “We cannot advance against the [Canaanite] people … since the land consumes its inhabitants” (Numbers 13:31-32). Their lack of faith was reflected in the reversal of the letters AYIN (ע) and PEY (פ). The spies declared with their mouth what they had not seen with their eyes.

The first words spoken by the “mouth” of God in Creation was: “Let there be light.” When the eyes of the Creator perceived the creation of light produced from within Himself, He proclaimed “It was good.” This word “good” in Genesis 1:4 is the thirty-third word in Scripture, which is the sum of the ordinal values of both AYIN and PEY (33 = 16 + 17). This alludes to the eyes and mouth connecting for good. “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer” (Psalms 19:14 NKJV). He is a good, good God: “Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen” (Hebrew 13:20-21 NKJV). On the flip side Scripture articulates: “You have wearied the Lord with your words; Yet you say, ‘In what way have we wearied Him?’ In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them,’ Or, ‘Where is the God of justice?’” (Malachi 2:17 NKJV).

When God created man in His own image, “He blew into his nostrils the soul of life; and man became a living being” (Genesis 2:7). The Hebrew Sage Onkelos interprets the phrase “living being,” as a speaking spirit. The ultimate purpose of mankind’s mouth is to praise Almighty God: “And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: ‘Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested’” (Revelation 15:2-4 NKJV).

Not only are we to worship and praise El Shaddai with our mouths, but the ultimate fulfillment of the meditation of God’s Word is to teach (or speak) it. “ ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up’ ” (Deuteronomy 6:4-7 NKJV). The Hebrews believe that when someone shows an eagerness to learn, they should teach even if they feel inadequate. When we truly learn God’s Word, we shouldn’t keep the benefit to ourselves. The Body of Christ has been created to connect with the Word of God – Messiah Yeshua – and voice the truth in love: “But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love (Ephesians 4:15-16 NKJV).

The Hebrew Living Letter ™ PEY (פ) is equivalent to the number 80. Moses was eighty years old when he led the children of Israel out of Egypt – the world. The Hebrew Sages define eighty as the age of strength. The Hebrew word for strength “gevurah” is equivalent to 80. One of the main reasons for this is when Moses was about to become God’s messenger to transmit God’s Torah (Word) to the people, Hebrew History says that Moses was granted a rejuvenation of energy and vitality.

HEBREW LIVING LETTER ™ – AYIN – DIVINE LIGHT AND SIGHT

“Divine Light & Sight – AYIN” by Robin Main

“I have done justice and righteousness; Do not leave me to my oppressors. Be surety for Your servant for good; Do not let the proud oppress me. My eyes fail from seeking Your salvation and Your righteous word. Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy, And teach me Your statutes. I am Your servant; Give me understanding, That I may know Your testimonies. It is time for You to act, O Lord, For they have regarded Your law as void. Therefore I love Your commandments More than gold, yes, than fine gold! Therefore all Your precepts concerning all things I consider to be right; I hate every false way” (Psalms 119:121-128 NKJV).

AYIN (ע) is the sixteenth letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. It has the numerical value of 70. The ancient pictograph for AYIN resembles an eye and represents to see. By extension, AYIN means to understand, which is the second step in the watchword for Is-real – “The Shema” – hear, understand, and do. AYIN also symbolizes to experience or to be seen.

AYIN (ע) represents the spiritual light mentioned in Genesis 1:3, which is different than the celestial light mentioned in Genesis 1:14-18. “Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light” (Genesis 1:3 NKJV). This divine light is far greater than the light that emanates from the sun and moon and stars. The radiance of the divine light can only be seen by one’s inner eye given by the Holy Spirit.

Upon entering the Land of Israel, the second city to be conquered by Joshua was Ai (עי). Ai (עי) is an abbreviated form of AYIN (נ‎עי). The Battle of Ai revelatory reveals where the eye falls. Jericho was the first city conquered in the Promise Land. Jericho comes from the Hebrew word “reiach,” which is the sense of smell. Smell has the most powerful impact on memory than all the other senses; thus, it reminds us and helps us discern. Saint Anthony of Padua focused on the nose as a symbol of discernment. He wrote, “The ‘nose’ of the soul is the virtue of discretion (i.e., discernment), which sniffs out vice and virtue as the nose distinguishes nice and nasty smells. It also scents from a distance the approaching temptations of the devil.” The sense of smell or the nose is also connected to perception.

The Hebrew word for “the land” eretz is also connected to the sense of smell. Eretz derives from the Hebrew word ratzon, which means “will.” The Hebrew Sages ask: Why is it called eretz? They answer: Because it wills to do the Will of its Creator. Perhaps, this is why the Hebrew Sages say that the origin of the sense of smell is a superconscious sensitivity directing the motivation of one’s will. Messiah Yeshua taught us vital things about our will. Not only did He include “will” in the Lord’s prayer “Your kingdom come. YOUR WILL BE DONE on earth as it is in heaven: (Matthew 6:10), but it is one of the last examples Yeshua left with us when He was in the Garden of Gethsemane. Twice Yeshua pleaded: “He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; NEVERTHELESS, NOT AS I WILL, BUT AS YOU WILL” (Matthew 26:39) and “Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, YOUR WILL BE DONE” (Matthew 26:42). Choosing the Father’s perfect will above your own will is a major key for the ruling and reigning Crucified Ones. At the intersection of your will and His will His Kingdom comes.

Sight is the first conscious sense. In the conquest of Jericho, Achan (which is related to the word AYIN) coveted forbidden booty. The tragic result was the initial defeat of Israel in the battle of “the eye” (Ai). Coveting hampers, and even blinds, the spiritual sight of the eye. In the case of the Battle of Ai, only after the sin of coveting was rectified was “the eye” given to God’s people.

The Hebrew Living Letter™ AYIN (ע) equals the number 70. The number 70 occurs frequently in Scripture as well in Hebrew History. We read seventy souls went into Egypt (Exodus 1:5). Seventy elders of Israel had a face-to-face encounter with the God of Israel where sapphire pavement was under His feet (Exodus 24:9-10). Seventy nations and languages were disbursed from the Tower of Babel. Seventy years of exile in Babylon. Seventy sacrifices of oxen were made for the nations during the Feast of Tabernacles. Seventy palms represent righteousness (Numbers 33:9; Psalms 92:12). We are asked to forgive people seventy times seven (Matthew 18:22). Yeshua sent out seventy people two-by-two before His face into every city (Luke 10:1). The Hebrews believe that there are seventy faces of Torah (Word of God), seventy Names of God, and seventy birth pangs until the coming of the Messiah. You get the idea.

MEM (מ‎) has the numerical value of 40. The ancient pictograph for MEM looks like a wave of water, which represents water; mighty, massive or many (like the ocean); chaos (like the ocean); to come from (like water down a stream). MEM (מ‎) also symbolizes people, nations, languages, and tongues. “Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues” (Revelation 17:15 NKJV).

Hebrew Sages tells us that the living letter MEM – the letter of water (mayim) – symbolizes the fountain of divine wisdom. This fountain of divine wisdom is the Torah (the first five books of the Bible), which is also simply called the Word of God. Just as water springs up from a hidden subterranean source, so does the fountain of wisdom express the energetic powerful flow of the mysteries of the Messiah. “The words a man speaks are deep waters, a flowing stream, a fountain of wisdom” (Proverbs 18:4). “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might SANCTIFY AND CLEANSE HER WITH THE WASHING OF WATER BY THE WORD, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:25-27 NKJV).

During the Feast of Tabernacles, Yeshua proclaimed His fulfillment of the water pouring ceremony on the seventh day of Sukkot: “On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ ” (John 7:37-38 NKJV).

The water pouring ceremony became a focus of the joy that the Torah commands for Sukkot. On no other festival were the people commanded to be joyful, and as a result Sukkot became known as “the Season of Our Joy,” just as Passover is “the Season of Our Freedom. The water pouring ceremony during the Feast of Tabernacles was the only water poured out onto God’s altar. This water was literally called “Yeshua” – the waters of salvation. Jesus proclaimed “If anyone drinks of Me” in God’s Temple, which demonstrated that He was (and still is) these waters of salvation. When Yeshua did this, He literally spoke the greatest teaching of Moses. To get to heaven, you must go through these waters to get there. This was the very place where Peter preached on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). It was also the place where the Rabbis used to teach of the coming Messiah.

The Hebrew Living Letter ™ MEM (מ‎) is equivalent to the number 40, which Scripturally connects to:

* 40 days and 40 nights of flood waters

* 40 years in the Wilderness

* 40 days Moses was up on Mount Sinai

* 40 days Yeshua fasted in the wilderness

* 40 days from initial conception to the forming of the fetus

* 40 weeks of gestation before birth

* 40 days of repentance (teshuvah) prior to the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) to prepare for a greater crowning of the Messiah, as King of your world

* 40 days after the nation unconditionally accepted His marriage contract (ketubah), God said: “You shall be for Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation” (Exodus 19:6). The supposedly superfluous “for Me” has a numerical value of 40 (LAMED-YUD), which indicated to Moses that the people’s promise would not be kept for more than forty days. If you recall, after forty days Aaron built the Golden Calf to please the people. This is when God threatened to annihilate the Jewish people then and there; but, Moses fasted another 40 days praying that God would change His decision and pardon the people. When God responded positively to Moses standing in the gap, Moses was called up God’s mountain for another 40 days and 40 nights to receive the second set of the Ten Commandments (ketubah).

It was during this second time on God’s mountain that God first showed Moses how to prevent a national catastrophe through a particular heartfelt prayer that invokes His mercy. This prayer – The Thirteen Attributes of Mercy – is recited in times of crisis when we beseech the LORD to show us mercy. It contains thirteen names and descriptions of God, which all refer to God’s compassion in various situations: “The Lord passed before him [Moses] and proclaimed: ‘The Lord, The Lord, God, Compassionate and Gracious, Slow to Anger, and Abundant in Kindness and Truth; Preserver of Kindness for thousands of generations, Forgiver of Iniquity, Willful Sin, and Error, and Who Cleanses” (Exodus 34:6-7). Since MEM is the thirteenth letter of the Hebrew Alphabet, each of these thirteen attributes of mercy is like a vapor of infinite love and wisdom with “waters that have no end.”

A marvelous connection to MEM is the Hebrew words for “one” (echad) and “love” (ahavah), because both words have a sum that is equivalent to 13. “Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one” (1 John 5:1-7 NKJV).

God’s Essential Name – Havayah – which is the “Name of Mercy” equals 26 = 2 x 13. Havayah reveals the union of “one” (echad) and “love” (ahavah), which is the power to draw into our own consciousness the deep springs of the Messiah’s living water. “For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes” (Revelation 7:17 NKJV).

HEBREW LIVING LETTER ™ – LAMED – ASCENDING TO COMPREHEND GOD’S WISDOM

“A Heart that Understands – LAMED” by Robin Main

“Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides. They continue this day according to Your ordinances, For all are Your servants. Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction. I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life” (Psalms 119:89-93 NKJV).

LAMED (ל‎) is the twelfth letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. It has the numerical value of 30. The ancient pictograph for LAMED (ל‎) looks like a shepherd’s rod or staff. Its ancient pictograph symbolizes to prod or urge forward, to direct, to control, to go forward, or a tongue. LAMED is unique as a Hebrew Living Letters™, because it is the only letter to rise above the baseline.

As the twelfth letter of twenty-two, it is a central letter. LAMED is considered to be the heart of the Hebrew Alphabet. Since LAMED (ל‎) centrally towers over the living letters, it is said to represent the King of Kings (melekh hamelakhim). This concept is supported in that the previous letter KAF (כ‎) stands for the “Throne of Glory” (kisei hakavod) and the following letter MEM (מ) stands for “kingdom” (malkhut). The Hebrew Sages point out that the three central letters of the Hebrew Alphabet spell out “melekh” – king.

Since LAMED is central and raised above all other letters, it represents YHVH and the King of Kings. Additionally, the numerical value of LAMED is 30, which is the same value as the Hebrew word for “Judah.” This points to a connection between the Tribe of Judah and learning about YHVH.

Not only does the Hebrew Living Letter LAMED represent the King of Kings, but it is associated with the Great Shepherd’s golden shepherd’s staff (rod). One of the tools that each legitimate member of the Righteous Order of Melchizedek is being equipped with in this hour is the Great Shepherd’s golden shepherd’s staff. This Melchizedek Company is a group of priests and kings whose many facets correspond to the High Priest of the Order of Melchizedek – Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) Himself. As the Great Shepherd who is the Lamb in the midst of the Throne, Yeshua is extending His Golden Shepherd Staff offer to whosoever will at this time. Please do not take this offer lightly, because it comes with great authority and responsibility. Know that there are dire consequences for anyone who abuses the Great Shepherd’s golden shepherd’s staff, because the Great Shepherd of our souls is also the Righteous Judge (1 Peter 2:25; James 5:9). I say that Yeshua is extending His Golden Shepherd Staff, because Melchizedek kings and priest are directly accountable to Messiah Yeshua, and their golden shepherd staff and His are one.

In the “Letters of Rabbi Akiva,” the full spelling of the Hebrew Living Letter ™ LAMED is LAMED, MEM, and DALET (למד) and is read as short for the phrase: “a heart that understands knowledge” (lev meivin da’at). Therefore, LAMED represents the aspiration of a truly devoted pupil to learn from the mouth of a teacher. The literal meaning of the living letter LAMED is “to learn” or “to teach.”

On top of the living letter LAMED (ל‎) is the letter YUD (י), which alludes to the seed of wisdom. This divine imparted seed of wisdom descends from a person’s brain to their heart as well as the heart aspiring (ascending) to receive insight from the brain. One of the secrets of the form of the letter LAMED (ל‎) is the heart ascending in aspiration to comprehend the point of wisdom represented by the YUD (י) situated at the top of the letter LAMED (ל‎).

HEBREW LIVING LETTER ™ – TET – CONCEALED GOOD

“Concealed Good – TET” by Robin Main

“You have dealt well with Your servant, O LORD, according to Your word. Teach me good discernment and knowledge, for I believe in Your commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word. … It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes. The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces” (Psalms 119:65-67,71-72 _NASB).

TET (ט‎) is the ninth letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet, which has the numerical value of nine. The pictograph for TET looks like a snake coiled in a basket. Its ancient pictograph symbolizes to surround, to hide, or to conceal.

TET (ט‎) is the least frequently used Hebrew Living Letter ™ in the Scriptures while YUD (י) appears most often. TET is a mysterious letter. It is an enigma, a paradox, which reveals both good and evil. TET is the initial letter for the Hebrew word tov (i.e., good). Tov refers to the most inner and modest state of beauty.

Notice how the form of the letter TET appears inverted. Perhaps, that is why the Hebrew believe that TET (ט‎) symbolizes hidden and/or inverted good. After nine months of a pregnancy, a child is born from the hidden inward parts of their mother’s womb. This power of life in a mother is one of the secrets of TET since TET is equivalent to the number 9. Within her is concealed goodness – her fetus – throughout the entire pregnancy.

At the very beginning of Creation, God saw the appearance of primordial singular light and it is written: “it was good” (Genesis 1:4). Hebrew Sages interpret this to mean “good to be hidden for the tzadikim (righteous ones) in the Time to Come.” The Time to Come can refer to every generation. Each soul is a potential tzadik – a person considered righteous by God Himself. As it is written: “And your people shall all be righteous” (Isaiah 60:12).

These righteous ones are connected to the Light of the World concealed in the Word of God. The more a person actualize their righteous kingdom potential, the more goodness they reveal from the womb of God’s Word. This is the womb (matrix) mentioned in Psalms 110:3 where the kings and priests of the Order of Melchizedek are formed: “The LORD will stretch forth your strong scepter from Zion, saying, ‘Rule in the midst of your enemies.’ Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power; in holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as dew. The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, ‘You are a priest forever according to the Order of Melchizedek’” (Psalms 110:2-4 _NASB).

As we have seen, TET (ט‎) is equivalent to the number 9. The reduced form of the Hebrew word for “truth – emet – has the value of 9: 441 = 4 + 4 + 1 = 9. So does the Hebrew words for “brother” (ach) and “garment” (beged). This communicates that mature brothers in Christ are literally clothed with truth. “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing—Life forevermore” (Psalms 133:1-3 _NKJV).

These precious refined souls are also pregnant with God’s infinite goodness and beauty, which can be represented by the nine gifts of the Spirit (I Corinthians 12:6-11), nine fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), and the nine fruits of the Bridal Garden (Song of Songs 4:12-14). These Righteous Sons of Light are made after the Great High Priest of the Order of Melchizedek – Messiah Yeshua: “Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, called by God as High Priest “according to the Order of Melchizedek” (Hebrews 5:8-10 _NKJV). “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses” (Revelation 19:11-14 _NKJV).

HEBREW LIVING LETTER ™ – CHET – GATEWAY OF LIFE

“The LORD is my portion; I have promised to keep your words… I am a companion of all those who fear You, and of those who keep Your precepts. The earth is full of Your lovingkindness, O LORD; teach me Your statutes: (Psalms 119:57,63-64 NASB).

CHET (ח) is the eighth letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. It has the numerical value of 8. The ancient pictograph for CHET looks like a wall or a fence. It represents to separate, to cut off from, or to protect.

CHET is known as the letter of life. The words “chaim” (life) and “chayah” (living) both begin with the letter CHET (ח). Another Hebrew word for life is chai (חי‎). It is short for “chaim” (chayim). The letter CHET resembles a doorway that the blood of the lamb marked for life during the first Passover (Exodus 12:7). When we look at the letters CHET and YUD together (חי‎), it looks like a lamb – the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world, which gives eternal life when applied to one’s heart. On a spiritual and historical level, chai stands for being alive in front of God as opposed to being (spiritually) dead. This is derived from Deuteronomy 30:19-20 – “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you LIFE and death, the blessings and the curse. So choose LIFE in order that you may LIVE, you and your descendants, by loving the LORD your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your LIFE and the length of your days, that you may LIVE in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

CHET (ח) forms a gateway and give us power to enter a higher realm or a higher energy level. At the level of a person’s soul, CHET gives the power to enter the mysteries of one’s own soul – the Kingdom of God within, which when realized will unfold outward. This kingdom manifestation will be clearly seen and understood by everyone. At the level of divinity, CHET gives the power to enter the mysteries of God’s Word, which is especially accessible during one’s Sabbath Rest. Once we have tapped into the CHET essence of the Word of God, Messiah Yeshua assists us in making manifest the revelatory Living Word through a new and higher level of consciousness, which is then applied to anything and everything we do.

CHET (ח) equals the number eight. It represents grace (chen) and new beginnings:

* The Abrahamic Covenant was marked by circumcision, which traditionally happens on the eighth day of a boy’s life. According to the Hebrews, circumcision marks the beginning of a boy’s life.

* Eight souls were saved during The Flood by being encased in Noah’s Ark.

* King David was the eighth son of Jesse.

* The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) is an eight day fall festival that is a rehearsal for His people dwelling with God.

* The eighth day of the spring festival of Passover (Pesach) has been traditionally associated with the hope for the coming Messiah. Partaking of Machiach’s Seudah (festive banquet to celebrate the Messiah redeeming us from the last exile), translates the awareness of the redemption of the Messiah into a meal, which leads us to associate a physical appearance of the Messiah with our own flesh and blood.

HEBREW LIVING LETTER ™ – ZAYIN – SWORD OF TIME

Let us continue to explore the Word of God contained within the Hebrew Living Letters™ (HLL).

ZAYIN (ז) is the seventh letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet. Therefore, it has the numerical value of 7. The pictograph for ZAYIN looks like a sword. It symbolizes to cut, or to pierce. Since ZAYIN represents both a sword and the number seven, we understand that it is used to rightly divide, or cut up, time (z’man) into units of seven:

* The 7th day of the week is the Sabbath where God rested from all His work according to the Word of God [week of days]

* The 49th day (7 x 7) after Passover (Pesach) is Pentecost (Shavuot) [week of weeks]

* The 7th month of the Hebrew year is Tishri [week of months]

* The 7th year of rest for the land is called the Shemitah [week of years]

* The 49th year (7×7) is the last jubilee year in a cycle – a Yovel [week of week of years]

* The 7th millennium of human history from the point of creation of mankind (Adam and Eve) is the Millennial Kingdom [week of 1000s, or weeks of eons]

A commentary on the Book of Leviticus – Vayikra Rabbah 29:10 – articulates that the number seven has always been regarded as the number of completion, wholeness, blessing, and rest.

ZAYIN (ז) looks similar to the Hebrew Living Letter ™ VAV (ו) except that the head of the letter ZAYIN extends in both directions, which appears like a crown scepter of a king. It is rulership manifesting in the world.

Let’s focus on the Seven Day Sabbath. Abraham Joshua Heschel wrote an excellent book – The Sabbath. Within he shares profound mysteries of the Sabbath. For instance, “One of the most distinguished words in the Bible is the word qadosh, holy: a word which more than any other is representative of the mystery and majesty of the divine. Now what was the first holy object in the history of the world? Was it a mountain? Was it an altar? It is, indeed, a unique occasion at which the distinguished word qadosh is used for first time: in the Book of Genesis at the end of the story of creation. How extremely significant is the fact that it is applied to time: ‘And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy.’ There is no reference in the record of creation to any object in space that would be endowed with the quality of holiness. … When history began, there was only one holiness in the world, holiness in time” (p. xvi-xvii).

After creation, God called for the holiness of man at Mount Sinai through Moses: “Thus you shall say to the House of Jacob and tell the sons of Israel: ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself. Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation…” (Exodus 19:3-6 NASB). It was only after His people worshipped a thing in space – The Golden Calf – that a place of holiness in space was established. Heschel speaks of “The sanctity of time came first. The sanctity of man came second, and the sanctity of space last. Time was hallowed by God: space, the Tabernacle, was consecrated by Moses.”

The Seventh Day Sabbath was not determined by anything in nature, but by an act of creation by God Himself. The Biblical Sabbath is a day where we gloriously commune with our Creator in His rest and become attunes to the holiness in time, which is where eternity rightly intersects time. The Sabbath is one of the most precious gifts given to mankind from God’s Treasure House. Heschel tells how “the seventh day is like a palace in time with a kingdom for all. It is not a date but an atmosphere” (p. 11). He goes on: “The Sabbath is a bride, and its celebration is like a wedding” (p. 47). It is like saying, “I do,” over and over and over again. “Just as a man rejoices all the days of the wedding feast, so does man rejoice on the Sabbath; just as the groom does no work on his wedding day, so does a man abstain from work on the Sabbath Day; and therefore, the Sages and Ancient Saints called the Sabbath a bride” (p. 47-48).

We become the Sabbath Queen who is a woman of valor and who is the crown of her husband when we come away with our Beloved for His day of rest. The Biblical Sabbath is a glorious eternal reality. It is where the Bride of the Messiah – you and I – provides a place of rest for His eternal holiness in time. I have found that each Sabbath I grows into the “perfect in one” image (John 17:23), as I focus on one thing… my Beloved Bridegroom – Messiah Yeshua.

There is a righteous Heavenly Sabbath Queen and the righteous Crowned Man – Messiah Yeshua. ZAYIN (ז) represents the Crowned Man who is our protector, as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, and our nurturer, as the Good Shepherd who feeds His sheep. Similarly, ZAYIN is a paradoxical word since its root (zan) communicates “sustenance” and “nourishment” while its fundamental meaning is a weapon, a sword. The sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God (Yeshua Himself), knows that sometimes His two-edged sword needs to be applied in our lives so that we can be rightly divided from those things that keep us from being nourished with life and being at rest… His rest.

HEBREW LIVING LETTER ™ – VAV – POWER TO CONNECT HEAVEN & EARTH

“Power to Connect Heaven & Earth – VAV” by Robin Main

When Messiah Yeshua testified that He is the ALEF and the TAV (ת‎א), the First (rishon) and the Last (acharon), and the Beginning (rosh) and the Ending (sof) in Revelation 22:13, He was making a direct reference to three verses – Isaiah 41:4, Isaiah 44:6, Isaiah 48:12 – where Adonai explicitly says that He is the First and the Last and there is no other god beside Him. As it is written in Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God (ALEF-TAV) created the heavens and the earth” (Bereshit bara Elohim et hashamayim ve’et ha’aretz). Not only is Messiah Yeshua the Beginning and End of all creation, He is also the Creator and Sustainer of all things: “For by Him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him: And He is before all things and by Him all things consist” (Colossians 1:16-17).

Let us first discuss the sixth letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet – VAV – then delve deeper into ALEF-TAV. Our focus in this Hebrew Living Letter ™ series is how they each portray the essence of the Messiah.

VAV (ו) is the sixth letter of the Hebrew Living Letter ™ Alef-Bet; and therefore, has the numerical value of 6. The pictograph for VAV looks like a tent peg or nail. VAV represents joining together, making secure, or becoming nailed (bounded).

VAV (ו) is 6. The number six is known as the number of man because: [1] Man was created in God’s own image on the sixth day of creation (Genesis 1:26-31). [2] Man works for six days and rests on the seventh (Genesis 2:2-3). [3] The number of the beast coming out of the sea with ten horns, ten heads, and ten crowns with blasphemous names is the number of a man “666 – a completely selfish man (Revelation 13:2,18).

The first VAV in God’s Word is in Genesis 1:1 – “In the beginning God created the heavens and (VAV) the earth.” This first VAV in Scripture sets precedence. The first VAV is the sixth word in Scripture and the twenty-second letter of Genesis 1:1, which alludes to VAV’s power to connect all the Hebrew Living Letters™ from ALEF to TAV.

How profound that the first VAV has the power to connect all the Hebrew Living Letters ™ from ALEF to TAV and this first VAV was used during creation to join heaven and earth. When we combine this with VAV being the number for man, we see some intense truths about the God-Man Messiah Yeshua (Son of God and Son of Man). Thus says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God” (Revelation 3:14). Please note that we were made in His image. “

The Hebrew Word “et,” which is spelled out ALEF-TAV, not only represents the entire Hebrew Alphabet, but also to Messiah Yeshua: “I am the ALEF and the TAV, the beginning and the end, the first and the last” (Revelation 22:13). The pictograph for ALEF-TAV communicates the Strength of the Covenant, or the One who comes in humble silent strength (ALEF) who bears the sign of the true covenant (TAV), or the One who bears the Cross.

Let’s dive a little deeper into the hidden meaning behind ALEF-TAV (et) in the first verse in the Bible. “In the beginning God created ALEF-TAV the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1) reads in Hebrewבְּרֵאשִׁ֖ית בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ – Bereshit bara Elohim et hashamayim ve’et ha’aretz. Throughout Scripture there are random references to ALEF-TAV that have been largely disregarded when Jews read their Bible, or when Scripture has been translated into other languages, including English. So far, it seems that mainly Jewish mystics have tried to delve into the reason why those random ALEF-TAVs exist in the written word. Perhaps these scholars have overlooked the Messianic reference in Isaiah 44:6 – “Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: I am the first [ALEF] and I am the last [TAV], and there is no God besides Me.” Please recall that Yeshua declares in Revelation 1:8, “I am the Alpha and the Omega… who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Yeshua is the ALEF-TAV.

Recall that not only is Messiah Yeshua the Beginning and the End, but the Creator and Sustainer of all things. This goes along with the Hebrew Sages interpretation of the word “et” in Genesis 1:1. They say that “et” includes all the various objects of creation present within heaven and earth, which began when infinite light filled all-in-all (all reality). A single ray of light was the beginning of creation and is the secret of the Hebrew Living Letter ™ VAV. Although the ray of light was singular, it permeated and saturated every dimension of heaven and earth. The first VAV is said to join matter and spirit, or in other words, heaven and earth.
