NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE

There is nothing impossible for those who are one with the language Almighty God speaks.

“The LORD said, ‘Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now NOTHING which they purpose to do will be impossible for them” (Genesis 11:6). This verse originally speaks about Nimrod and Company building a tower by their own design and desires to reach heaven their own way.

All the national families were concentrated in Babylon, which is present day Iraq. All the ingredients for excellence were there. The nations were in one central location, they were united, and they all spoke one language, the Holy Tongue, the language with which the world was created. When the one language was confused by YHVH Himself, 70 nations dispersed over the face of the earth (Gen. 11:8).

Nimrod was the primary force behind the rebellion. He is the one who planned to build a tower that ascended to heaven to wage war against God. How crazy is that?! Especially when one considers that the Flood had only been 340 years prior to the dispersion from the Tower of Babel. As for the memory of the Flood, this tower-building group had deluge eyewitnesses. The survivors of the Flood – Noah and his three sons – were still alive, which should have frightened everyone from confronting God.

Let’s take a closer look at nothing being impossible for those made in God’s own image. There are two Hebrew words that contain an ALEF-TAV (את) in Genesis 11:5 “YHVH descended to look at the city and the tower which was built by the sons of man”, which is a hidden representation of the Lord of All Creation, Almighty God, El Shaddai. These two words are translated into English as “and the tower” and “the city.” Therefore, both the Tower of Babel that the sons of man built, and the city surrounding it had the original imprint of the Maker of heaven and earth – Almighty God. This is also emphasized in Genesis 11:8 “So YHVH scattered them abroad” where the Hebrew word for “them” also contains an ALEF-TAV (את), which signifies mankind made in God’s own image.

If we look at the Hebrew Word Picture for “language” (שָׂפָה sâphâh, saw-faw’), a deeper understanding is brought to bear. The pictograph for SHIN (ש) is teeth that symbolizes to devour, to destroy, to consume, something sharp, or El Shaddai (Almighty God). The pictograph for PEY (פּ) is a mouth, symbolizing to speak, to open, or the beginning, like a river. The pictograph for HEI (ה) is a man or a priest with their hands lifted up and an open window over their head, which means behold and symbolizes to show or to reveal. If we look at a simple symbolic meaning for the Hebrew Living™ Letters contained within sâphâh (שָׂפָה), we get one of the Hebrew Word Picture interpretations for “language” in Genesis 11:6. Language in this context communicates “Behold, the All-Consuming Almighty God speaks.” Nothing is impossible for the people who are one with what El Shaddai speaks.

“Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the temple; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord’s glory. And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court, like the voice of Almighty God when He speaks” (Ezekiel 10:4-5).

Give em heaven!!!
