Many moons ago Yeshua told me that “Denial isn’t just a River in Egypt.” Then He spoke about how I couldn’t deny myself and take up my cross to follow Him, if I didn’t understand what I was denying. Denial requires me to recognize something before I can deny it.

“Then Jesus said to his disciples, He who wishes to follow Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; and whoever loses his life for My sake shall find it. For how would a man be benefited, if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with his holy angels; and then he will reward each man according to his works. Truly I say to you, There are men who stand here who will not taste death, until they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom” (Matthew 16:24-28 Aramaic).

In fact, whatever we can’t deny and crucify will be the very things that we will exchange for the total transformation of our soul. There are many people who stand here and now that will not taste death to self until they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom. This is one of the greatest treasures of ascension that focuses on the perfect heart of the Father. People are able to see their presumptuous sins and hidden faults, if they simply choose to ascend, and be humble and teachable.
