Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world is within all Biblical Feasts. The ultimate goal of the Messiah’s Feasts is the oneness of mankind made in God’s own image, just like the Father and Yeshua are one: “That they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me” (John 17:21 NASB).
Oneness is all about the total transformation of a person’s soul into the Messiah’s image, which is pictured in the Tree of Life. Originally, mankind was created a living soul (living being), not a human being. Notice that Genesis 2:7 speaks of YHVH forming the “living being” called man from the dust of the ground by breathing the spirit of life into him. Then two verses later, Scripture mentions that YHVH made every tree grow out of the same dust of the earth with particular emphasis on the primordial seed tree – the Tree of Life (Gen. 2:9).
It is not a coincidence that the Lord put trees by the water worldwide. Trees detoxify water, just like the Lamb of the Cross detoxified/detoxifies our Fallen World. We have the eternal antidote of the Blood of the Lamb of God. It just needs to be applied.
The Passover picture given to believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is first the Blood of the Lamb is applied in faith before there is victory over the powers of darkness. Remember that the tenth and final plague was delivered at midnight Egyptian Standard Time; and then, God’s people left Egypt (i.e., the world) for the Promise Land the following day (Exo. 12:29-41). Behold, it’s the midnight hour, but there will be the breaking of the dawn of new day.
The Passover Seder is traditionally celebrated the evening when the lambs were sacrificed, and their blood applied to His people’s doorposts on the 14th of Nisan. This is the same day on the Biblical Calendar that Yeshua was crucified here on earth, as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29). Then, three days and three nights later Messiah Yeshua arose from the dead on the 17th of Nisan, which was the Feast of First Fruits (Bikkurim) that year.
Remember all this when you meditate on the promises of the new heaven and new earth – the New Jerusalem – revealed in Revelation 21 where the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple (Rev. 21:22) and its city is illuminated by the lamp of the Lamb (Rev. 21:23). We are told “nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the Tree of Life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations” (Revelation 21:27-22:2 NASB).
Please note that Easter qualifies as one of those abominations where people will not come into the New Jerusalem due to its profane pagan mixture (Rev. 21:27). Ezekiel 8:14 speaks of the abomination of women weeping for Tammuz, which is connected to both Lent and Easter.
“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and may enter by the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:12-14 NASB).
