METATRON IS BIBLICAL

Recently, I received a question from a person who came out of a strong New Age healing background. Her question was: Where does my information about Metatron come from? Because she said that Metatron is not in the Hebrew Scriptures. My answer: Metatron is Biblical. It’s just hidden in the ancient Targum Pseudo-Jonathan translation of Genesis 5:24 which reads: “Enoch worshiped in truth before the Lord, and behold he was not with the inhabitants of the earth because he was taken away and he ascended to the firmament at the command of the Lord, and he was called Metatron, the Great Scribe.” Metatron is also in Sefer Hekhalot (The Book of Palaces, also known as the Third Book of Enoch, or the Hebrew Book of Enoch), which recounts the ascent and divine transformation of the biblical figure Enoch into “the angel, the Prince of the Presence” – METATRON (3 Enoch 3).

Know that the Enoch Tradition actually underlies most of the New Testament. Enoch is a forerunner for our day. Basically, at one level, we can think about “Metatron” being a title for the people (those made in God’s image – Gen. 1:26) that’s given to those who have become totally (100%) transformed into the image of the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ). These beloved souls have truly forsaken the world to become a precious part of the Messiah Perfected Body where God Himself will cause those who walk with God, like Enoch, to literally be clothed with immortality. Refer to 2 Enoch 22.

Many times, there is a fine line between Satan’s counterfeit and YHVH’s truth. This is one of those times. Always discern things by Spirit and Truth. Scripture instructs us to keep that which is good, and throw away that which is evil. The True Metatron – the Perfectly Mature Head of the Messiah (Yeshua) and His Perfectly Mature Body – is one of the most glorious keepers of all!

WALKING LIKE ENOCH

The Enoch Tradition underlies the entire New Testament, as it was originally written and interpreted. If we fail to recognize the influence of Enoch, we distort our Christian origins and the original beliefs of the Kingdom communicated in Scripture.

The Third Book of Enoch continually reveals Enoch being enthroned in heaven as the Prince of the Presence, the angel Metatron. In the third chapter of 3 Enoch, Rabbi Ishmael asks Metatron, “What is your name?” Cherubic Enoch answers, “I have seventy names, corresponding to the seventy languages of the world, and all of them are based on the name Metatron, angel of the Presence. However, my King calls me ‘Youth.’”

It is very significant that the King calls the transfigured angelic/cherubic form of Enoch “Youth” or na’ar (3 Enoch 3). Na’ar originally meant “The Servant.” The original temple portrayed “the Servant” as the Heavenly High Priest. Therefore, the Servants of the Lord are high priests of the Most High God who entered the holy of holies and learned the secrets of the Kingdom. This heavenly and holy knowledge given to the Heavenly High Priests enabled them to renew and maintain the eternal covenant of creation.

Never forget that our Pattern Son – Yeshua – was declared to be The Servant:

“Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will declare justice to the Gentiles” (Matthew 12:18 NKJV).

“But Jesus called them to Himself and said, ‘You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave – just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:25-28 NKJV).

May His disciples love all, serve all.

KINGDOM BRIDEGROOM

The first one to introduce us to introduce us to Yeshua (Jesus) being the Bridegroom is John the Baptist: “He who has a bride is the bridegroom; and the best man of the bridegroom is he who stands up and listens to him, and rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice; this my joy therefore is fulfilled. He must become greater and I lesser” (John 3:29-30 Aramaic).

Yeshua also spoke of Himself as the Bridegroom and revealed that God’s Kingdom would come when He returns:

• “Then the disciples of John came up to Him and said, Why do we and the Pharisees fast a great deal, and your disciples never fast? Jesus said to them, Is it possible for THOSE AT THE WEDDING FEAST to fast as long as THE BRIDEGROOM IS WITH THEM? But the days are coming when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then they will fast” (Matthew 9:14-15 Aramaic).

• “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to greet THE BRIDEGROOM AND THE BRIDE. Five of them were wise, and five were foolish. And the foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them. But the wise ones took oil in the vessels with their lamps. As the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry, Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to greet him! Then all the virgins got up and prepared their lamps. And the foolish ones said to the wise ones, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. Then the wise ones answered, saying, Why, there would not be enough for us and for you; go to those who sell and buy for yourselves. And while they went and buy, the bridegroom came; and those who were ready entered with him into the banqueting house, and the door was locked. Afterward the other virgins also came and said, Our lord, our lord, open to us. But he answered and said to them, Truly I say to you, I do not know you. Be alert, therefore, for you do not know the day nor the hour” (Matthew 25:1-13 Aramaic).

Yeshua tells us that “to you has been given the secret of the Kingdom of God” (Mark 4:11). I believe that the Bride of Christ is more complex than we previously understood. Notice that in the original Aramaic version of Matthew 25 verse 1 portrays the bridegroom and the bride coming for the virgins with lamps (i.e., believers); but only the wise virgins with oil are taken into the wedding feast with them. Also, notice that even though the bridegroom and bride comes for the ten virgins, Matthew 25:6 only mentions the bridegroom. Of course, this speaks of the pre-eminence that the bridegroom should always have; but it can also communicate that God’s people (i.e. exemplified in the ten virgins) have a limited understanding of the bride when the bridegroom comes.

God is showing me that the Bride of Christ is made up of the 144,000 spiritually pure Hebrew souls who are first fruits to God and the Lamb (Revelation 14:4) as well as the wise virgins (Matthew 25:10). These are the ones taken into the wedding feast where the Messiah and these precious souls become one. These are the kings and priests of the Order of Melchizedek who have led their own inner fire bride forth. These are the fully mature sons, united as one, with Messiah Yeshua in the One New Man energetic matrix called Metatron.
