PRACTICAL KEYS TO UNLOCKING MELCHIZEDEK – PART 1 – OVERCOMING BABYLONIAN KINGS

Before Abram could receive the ministry of Melchizedek in Genesis 14, he had to first conquer some Babylonian Kings.

Abram’s journey in Genesis 14 illustrates a kingdom truth in our day. In this Kingdom Day, God’s people will come out of Babylon. We will temporarily go back into the world (i.e., Egypt), but then we will return to our Promised Land. There we must first conquer the rulership of the Babylonian practices and mindsets in our own lives before we can receive the ministry of Melchizedek. We must dethrone the same Babylonian kings that Abram did.

The Babylonian kings’ names indicate that we must overthrow darkness, deception, savagery, mercilessness, false positions, and producing after the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.* These are the mindsets within each one of us – His kings and priests – that need to be crucified.

Please remember that Yeshua (Jesus) was crucified in the place of the skull – Golgotha – and He wore a crown of thorns on His head, which represents the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches being crucified. We know that he who believes that Yeshua is the Son of God, and in His death, burial and resurrection overcomes the world. We also know that the Melchizedek Company is made like unto the Son of God, so pay attention when you study Scripture to the phrase “Son of God,” because His Royal Priestly Order of Melchizedek will walk in the same manner of the Son of God manifesting the excellencies of His Everlasting Kingdom.

PRIESTS OF THE ASCENDED GOD

Melchizedek — Malki-Tzedek (מַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק) — is called the priest of the Most High God (Genesis 14:18). The Most High God is called El Elyon (אֵל עֶלְיוֹן) in Hebrew, which means the “Ascended God.” Therefore, Melchizedek is the priest of the Ascended God.

Proverbs 30:4 says “Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What’s His Name or His son’s name? Surely you know!” First and foremost, this verse is speaking about El Elyon and His Son — Yeshua Ha Machiach (Jesus Christ) — who is the High Priest forever after the Order of Melchizedek. Now realize that His Son is made up of a Head — Messiah Yeshua — and a Body.

The part of His Body that will attach to the mature head with white hair (Revelation 1:14) will also be mature. Crack open your dictionary and notice that an order is a group of people. We are told that the kings and priests of the Ascended God are made like the Son of God (Hebrews 7:3). The Most High God has made a Melchizedek Way in this Kingdom Day for whosoever chooses to be made a mature son of man like unto the Son of God.

HE WHO CAUSES TO BE

When Jesus (Yeshua) was accused of blaspheme, why do you think He responded: “Why to the one whom the Father sanctified and sent to the world, do you say, You blaspheme, just because I said to you, I am Son of God?” (John 10:36 Lamsa’s Aramaic).

It’s because Yeshua knew that the High Priest wore the Hebrew Living Letters of the Sacred Name – YHVH – on his forehead. Yeshua knew the three inner forms of the Name, which was revealed to Moses at the burning bush. YHVH means “He who causes to be.” Although the secret form of the Name was not “he who causes to be,” but the personal utterance of God Himself: “I who cause to be” – אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה‎, ehyeh ašer ehyeh – (Exodus 3:14). This IS the form of the Name revealed to Moses at the burning bush, which was the great secret of the Original Temple. It was, and is, the secret of the Kingdom of God and, the secret of “theosis.” It is the understanding that a mortal can become divine – a son of God.

• “Yet the number of the sons of Israel will be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered; and in the place where it is said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ it will be said to them, ‘YOU ARE THE SONS OF THE LIVING GOD’” (Hosea 1:10 NASB).

• “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, Abba, Father!” (Galatians 4:6 NKJV).

This is the human (a mortal) who enters the Holy of Holies to become the Angel – take on their Cherubic Nature. “In the beginning, human beings were made in God’s own image, i.e. divine (Genesis 1:26-27). The original divine state of being can be described as angelic or cherubic. It can also be described as: first creation, primordial state, cherubic form and/or cherubic nature. So when you hear the term ‘angelic priests,’ please stop and ponder the eternal ramifications of being an angelic priests made after the Order of Melchizedek” (Ascension Manual, Chapter 3, p.30).

ENTHRONED AS MELCHIZEDEK

The royal priesthood, which is the priesthood of Melchizedek, is central to the understanding of the Kingdom of God. Psalm 110 is one of the royal psalms. “Melchizedek” is written as two words in Psalm 110, which suggests a title, not a name – the Righteous King. It speaks of the human(s) becoming the righteous priest-king at his enthronement. Those made in the fullness of the Order of Melchizedek are “made like unto the Son of God” (Hebrews 7:3). Notice in Psalm 110 the references to a womb, to the dawn, to the dew; and understand that the Son of God is begotten or born in the Holy of Holies. There is a moment of the Melchizedek Enthronement in every human’s life who chooses to become just like Yeshua (Jesus) beyond all other things. Don’t forget that a person’s Melchizedek Enthronement is initiated by the Most High God Himself, and is separate from being commissioned into His Melchizedek Army. This human becomes divine as a king and priest of the Order of Melchizedek, like Enoch did. Enoch was “raise up” to the Melchizedek Priesthood (Hebrews 7:11,15); and then he was resurrected, and sent back to earth with the power of indestructible life (Hebrews 7:16). THE ONE WHO STANDS BESIDE

After consistently encountering both the Order of Melchizedek and the Bride of Christ simultaneously for years during Group Ascensions, I pressed-in for months to understand what the Spirit of the Living God was saying, because I was confused whether they were the same thing or not. One day a one-line zinger came: “Melchizedek is the predecessor of the Bride.” Melchizedek prepares the Bride. You as a royal Melchizedek priest prepares your own inner fire bride whose purpose is to become just like Jesus (Yeshua) and be ONE (unite) with the Divine.

We are going to be exploring the divine dance between the One New Man in Christ made after the Order of Melchizedek and the Bride of Christ in today’s MEL GEL #2 Class entitled “Shekinah Sabbath.” (NOTE: Recordings for all MEL GEL Classes are available here => https://www.sapphirethroneministries.com/videos.)

During yesterday’s “BRIDAL VEIL #1 – Mystic Mentoring Group Ascension,” we were part of the Bride standing beside Yeshua (Jesus). He was dripping with oil dressed in a blue eternal priesthood robe. Did you know that the oil that anointed the Royal High Priest made him the Child of Wisdom – the Son of God – who was perfumed with oil from the Tree of Life? And Melchizedek is made like unto the Son of God (Hebrews 7:3)?

The second century Jewish scribe Ben Sira described Wisdom as the oil itself as well as Wisdom was the one who served in the Temple of Zion. She was the High Priest of Zion (Ben Sira 24:10). This sweet perfumed oil was made of myrrh, cinnamon and olive oil as prescribed in the instructions for the Tabernacle (Exodus 30:23-25).

This myrrh oil is a sacrament of theosis, as evidenced by Enoch. A sacrament is simply an visible outward sign of an inward spiritual divine grace. The divine grace of “theosis” speaks of resurrection being a transformation of a human being back into a divine being, as originally designed (Genesis 1:26). Check out the Second Book of Enoch Chapter 22. As a High Priest, Enoch ascended to heaven, stood before the Throne of God, was transformed into an angel, resurrected and then sent back to earth. His theosis was complete with being anointed with myrrh oil.

The perfumed anointing oil was kept in the Holy of Holies, and when a Royal High Priest was anointed, we are told that he received the gift of Wisdom herself – Resurrection Life, Vision, Knowledge and True Wealth.

In a collection of early Christian hymns known as “The Odes of Solomon” the precious gift of Wisdom in the fragrant myrrh oil was commemorated: “My eyes were enlightened and my face received the dew, and my soul was refreshed with the pleasant fragrance of the LORD” and “He anointed me with His perfection and I became as one who are near Him.” (The Odes of Solomon 11 & 36).

The Dead Sea Scroll 11Q13 speaks of a Melchizedek Company as a congregation of the Sons of Righteousness that “stand in the council of God.” It’s spoken about in Psalm 82:1 – “A godlike being has taken his place in the council of God in the midst of the divine beings he holds judgment.”

Clement of Alexandria records: “The knowledge of things past, present and future are revealed by the Son of God, the Great High Priest who passes through the curtain.” Don’t forget that Melchizedek is made like unto the Son of God (Hebrews 7:3).

Yielded Bodies Being Made Whole in the Midst of the Fire

As the Son of God walks with those who trust Him in the midst of the fire, their yielded bodies will be made whole.

“Look!” he answered, ‘I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.’” (Daniel 3:25 NKJV)

The phrase “not hurt” is one of the definitions for the word “whole.” My Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary tells me that WHOLE is an adjective where it means: UNHURT : RESTORED : being healed : free of defect or impairment : physically sound & healthy : free of disease : mentally or emotionally sound : COMPLETE : having all its proper parts : ENTIRE : undivided unit : UNBROKEN : CONCENTRATED : very great in quantity, extent, or scope : entirety of a person’s nature or development : syn PERFECT.

BECOMING A MATURE SON THROUGH THE BAPTISM OF FIRE

Two chief characteristics of a son of God according to the Word of God is that they serve God with a whole heart (1 Chronicles 28:9) as well as keeping God’s commandments (Proverbs 7:1-2: 1 John 2:3-6; Revelation 14:12). We are not talking about something yucky and legalistic, but a State of Being that resonates at the same frequency as the Word of God – Jesus. Please be encouraged, because this is a divine work of sanctification that’s done not by your might or your power, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). All that God requires from you and me is that we put our best foot forward in obeying His Word and surrendering to His Spirit. Thankfully, the Lord our God will give us all the grace that we need (2 Corinthians 9:8; Hebrews 4:16).

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6 NASB).

Even though the son’s portion came in the Fullness of Time when Jesus came to earth and purchased it on the cross (Galatians 4:4-6), we must experientially appropriate the redemptive gift of sonship the same way that it was acquired. Our journey of “moving unto perfection” is a crucifixion process (much more will be shared in another article). Dying daily is the only way we actually develop into mature, full-grown sons of God (Matthew 10:37-39, 16:24; Mark 8:34, 10:21; Luke 9:23, 14:27). The wisdom of God insists upon our permission to crucify our sin nature, and He will only complete the work of co-crucifixion with Christ with our approval. Volunteering freely in the day of God’s power is a continual daily sanctioning of “not my will, but Yours be done” (Matthew 6:10). Paul shows us the culmination of being an Adult Son is living a crucified life:

“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me” (Galatians 2:20 NASB).

When Jesus walked the earth, He was Jewish and His understanding of the Baptism of Fire, which He experienced at His crucifixion, came from the picture of Burnt Offering in the first five books of the Bible. It would behoove us Christians to start with the same foundation. They were the instructions of Moses on the priests, the altars, and the sacrificial system, which (by the way) is accurate according to the Messiah’s instructions:

“For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” (John 5:46-47 NASB)

In fact, the only reason that we can have confidence that Yeshua’s sacrifice on the cross was sufficient to pay the penalty for all sin (once and for all) relies on Moses’s instructions on the priests, the altars, and the sacrificial system. When Christians throw out these instructions and the first five books of the Bible in His eternal Word, we throw out the very basis that we can rely on Jesus’s shed blood on the cross washes away all of our sin.
