Just as everyone was sequestered in their homes before His remnant’s exodus from Egypt, so is today’s worldwide home stay (sheltering in place). Know that Egypt can be equated to the world. This year, Passover, is taking on a whole new ascended reality.
There are three levels to Passover: [1] Passover (Pesach) Itself – one-day festival, [2] Feast of Unleavened Bread (Chag HaMatzot) – seven-day festival, and [3] Feast of First Fruits (Bikkurim) – one-day festival falling within the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
The Feast of First Fruits is the third level. It’s of particular significance within the Lord’s Passover. It’s the Bride’s Passover. Bikkurim is all about first fruits and the power of His resurrection. Bikkurim is about bridal hearts perfectly uniting with Him. It’s about these bridal hearts being taken by God in their enraptured state, like Enoch, in order to be transformed into His very image. These will become Enoch Walkers.
Kathi Pelton has a bead on this year’s Passover when she focused on April 4, 2020 being the Sabbath immediately before Passover. It’s called Shabbat HaGadol (“Great Shabbat” שבת הגדול). The first Shabbat HaGadol took place in Egypt on the 10th of Aviv/Nisan, which was five days before the Israelite Exodus.
On that day, the Israelites were given their first commandment which only applied to the Shabbat HaGadol, “On the tenth day of this month (Aviv/Nisan)… each man should take a lamb for the household, a lamb for each home” (Exodus 12:3). This lamb is the lamb that was sacrificed four days later, and its blood smeared on the doorposts of every Jewish home.
During the time when the Israelites were living in captivity in Egypt “the lamb” was considered a god (an Egyptian idol). After living in the Egyptian culture 400 years, many of God’s chosen people had begun to accept Egyptian idols as a part of their belief system. Has today’s Church in America and the world done the same? God’s people had abandoned the purity of worshiping YHVH and Him only.
The Lord’s Passover is all about smashing the idols that rule His people, so they can be free to purely worship Him.
There’s a repeated refrain in the passage of Moses’ encounter with Pharaoh: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me” (Exodus 7:16; 8:1,20; 9:1,13; 10:3). The Hebrew word for “serve” is the action word ‘abad. which is a primitive root made up of the Hebrew Living Letters: ayin, bet, dalet ( עָבַד ). ‘Abad can be translated as: serve, do, till, servant, service, labor, work, or worship. In the wilderness of this world, we are meant to serve God by worshiping the Lord God and worshiping Him only. This is the primary “work” of those who truly love Him. This is the bridal heart’s labor of love.
In Egypt, the God of Mercy was breaking their stubborn and stiff-necked idolatry by asking His chosen people to take the very thing that they were worshiping and sacrifice it. Hear the word of the Lord: The one to be sacrificed is laughter (Isaac).
God asked His people to sacrifice their “idol” – a lamb. They were instructed to set this unblemished lamb aside, sacrifice it and use its blood to sprinkle the doorway of every Hebrew homes. Basically, if one was unwilling to sacrifice their idol, they didn’t have the protection of the righteous, redeeming Blood of the Lamb of God.
The blood of the unblemished lamb on the doorposts of His people’s homes was used to save the firstborn of every set-apart household from the angel of death. It also set them free from the idolatry that had slowly, but surely, crept into their lives.
Like today, God’s people were told to lock their doors and stay inside until the “death passed by.” Since Shabbat HaGadol is on April 4, 2020 and Passover begins sundown on April 8th , there’s a divine timeframe from April 4-16, 2020 to break idolatry throughout the world, so He can be crowned King of kings of kings. As we are locked in our houses, just like the Jews were during the first Passover, God’s people will be saved and delivered from our captivity.
These are idolatrous places where we have conformed to our society. We have idolatrous beliefs and behaviors that have replaced the pure and simple truth that is found in “The Blood of the Lamb.” Many things have been added to His pure blood shed on the Cross; and those things are defiling His Temple; which is you and me. It’s time to see the power of the pure and unadulterated blood of Yeshua come back to its rightful and pre-imminent place.
These are the days to prepare our hearts, so we can be spared from death and delivered from every form of idolatry that has crept in. It’s so we may worship our Heavenly Father in spirit and in truth and follow in Yeshua’s resurrection footsteps. The Great Shabbat (Sabbath) is like a spring cleaning before Passover.
In particular, I believe that the world is going to experience something unprecedented his year. The angel of death will pass over the firstfruits of His set-apart ones.
Yeshua died on Pesach, as the Lamb of God on the 14th of Aviv (Nisan). He was hidden in the ground on Chag HaMatzot on the 15th, as the broken bread without sin. They made sure to get Him in the ground before the High Sabbath or the Shabbaton of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (John 19:31). Yeshua revealed that He had to be in the ground three days and three nights (Matthew 12:40). Therefore, Yeshua died on the 14th (Pesach) and was resurrected on the 17th(Bikkurim).
On Firstfruits (Bikkurrim), Noah’s Ark came up out of the waters of death and rested safely on the mountain of God. On Firstfruits, the Jewish nation passed through the parted Red Sea, and came up safely on the other side, even though they were pursued by their enemies. On Firstfruits, the Jews were saved from certain death in Persia when Haman was hung on his own gallows. On Firstfruits, Yeshua resurrected, conquering death forever!
The firstfruits wave offering and the Resurrection of Yeshua are linked: “ 20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming” (1 Corinthians 15:20-23 NKJV).
The Apostle Paul reveals in 1 Corinthians 15 that Yeshua was like a “wave offering” presented before our Father in heaven, as the firstfruits of the harvest to come! The 144000 Bridal Company will be the firstfruits to follow in His resurrection footsteps where this mortality will take on immortality (1 Cor. 15:53; Rev. 14:4). Will they follow His Bikkurim Pattern? We will see.
Then the Wise Bridal Virgins will rise after the 144000 firstfruits, as sovereignly determined by God Himself.
