Today, on the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah), there is a sign in the heavens declaring the sign of the Chariots of God. Yom Teruah began the evening of September 9, 2018, as the green comet called “Comet 21P/Giabini-Zinner” began to pass through the constellation Auriga. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork” (Psalms 19:1 NKJV).
The specs for our Heavenly Father’s Feast of Trumpets are articulated in His word in Leviticus 23:23-25. Notice that there is no name given for this Feast of the Lord. It is simply called “a memorial of blowing trumpets”:
“ 2 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts. 23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 24 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, The seventh month on the first day of the month shall be to you a day of rest, and a memorial of blowing trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 You shall do no manner of work thereon; but you shall offer an offering by fire” (Leviticus 23:2,23-25 Lamsa’s Aramaic).
Significantly, the Great Comet 21P/Giabini-Zinner enters the Auriga constellation when Yom Teruah begins, and it is being released from the Auriga constellation (like a ball of fire) on the evening of September 10, 2018, as Yom Teruah closes => https://www.space.com/41758-bright-green-comet-21p-of-september-2018.html. “
What stands out to me about the Great Comet 21P/Giabini-Zinner is the number 21 associated with the letter “P.” The 21st letter of the Hebrew Alef-bet is “shin” (sheen). The Almighty’s great name “Shaddai” bears the letter shin; and so, does the mountains of Jerusalem and the human heart. “21” is equal to 7 (perfection, plan of God) * 3 (divine completion), which is the complete perfection reflected in the works of The Almighty (El Shaddai). The letter “P” is the 17th letter of the Hebrew Alef-bet – Pey – whose pictograph is a mouth that makes declarations. There is an especial emphasis on “perfection” with the letter “P” in the comet’s name. If you study “perfection” in the whole counsel of God’s Word, you see that its all about aiming at the mark of the high calling of becoming just like Yeshua (Jesus).
Additionally, Auriga is the Latin word for charioteer. The Auriga constellation in the northern hemisphere is between the Great Bear and Orion at the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy. It contains the first magnitude star Capell. The name “Capell” is an Old English name that means “one who works at the chapel.” My very prophetic Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary (10th Edition) defines “chapel” as a private place of worship, or a place of worship serving a residence, or a room or recess in a church for meditation and prayer.
Our Heavenly Father is communicating a very specific message during this year’s Feast of Trumpets. Before we sum it up, let’s consider three things that are happening during the Lord’s Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah).
First, Yom Teruah is the Day of the Awakening Blast. “How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound [blast of the shofar]…” (Psalms 89:15 NAS). The Hebrew word Teruah can be translated as either shout or awakening blast. With all the volatile things going on these days, take heart! These things are waking people up out of their zombie-like existence to the realities of the Father’s Love and His Kingdom. Please note that the word “awake” is associated with resurrection – transformation glory (Isaiah 26:19). The shofar (ram’s horn trumpet) is literally the physical instrument that God instructs His people to use to awaken people from spiritual slumber (1 Corinthians 15:45-46). There is much more to the sound of the shofar and the awakening blast, including freedom from the slavery of sin and the desires of this world.
This bring us to our second point to what happens during the Lord’s Feast of Trumpets. It’s the Day of Judgment (Yom HaDin). The Feast of Trumpets is a time of divine judgment and forgiveness. God’s people should always embrace His righteous judgments: “The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether” (Psalms 19:9 NASB). It’s easier to embrace His righteous judgments when we understand that dan is the Hebrew word for “judge.” Dan’s Ancient Hebrew Word Picture communicates that the Judge is the Door of Life – Yeshua – who has been tempted in every way that we have. “ 14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV). Therefore, an excellent prayer for Yom Teruah is to come into alignment with Yeshua with John 16:8 – Holy Spirit convict me and the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.
The third happening for the Feast of Trumpets that we are going over in this article is Yom Teruah is the time of the Coronation of the King. A coronation is when a king makes his accession to the highest office in the land and gets crowned. It’s the day he begins to reign, and he is heralded with trumpets. This is why Psalms 47 calls the nations to “Sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth” (Psalms 47:6-7) right after the shofar is sounded “God has ascended with a shout, the Lord, with the sound of a trumpet” (Psalms 47:5).
Notice the heavenly ascension theme. This brings us back to the specific message that the Lord is declaring during this year’s Feast of Trumpets, because the Chariots of God being released (to rule and reign perfectly as our Father in heaven does) are some kings made after the Order of Melchizedek. There is a remnant of Reigning Ones who have truly crowned the Prince of Peace as their King of Peace. Those who focus on hitting the bull’s eye of the Father’s perfect heart and will are the ones being crowned to rule and reign “in Christ” as His God’s Chariot Throne at this time. This glorious marks a new ruling and reigning reality for Melchizedek kings of righteousness and kings of peace. These are the Crucified Ones whose complete perfection reflect the works of Almighty God, as they live and move and have their being in Him. Behold the Coronation Day of the Chariot Kings!!! Behold, the reigning Chariots of God!!!
