PENTECOST & ENTHRONEMENT OF THE SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD

ART by Delores DeVelde

The bridal walk to divine oneness with our Beloved Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) begins by standing under the Arc of the Seven Spirits of God with Yeshua above the rainbow arc. Behold, a Menorah is in front of the Arc with the violet color of the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord emanating His Presence.

The seven flames of the Seven Spirits of God in His Temple provides a particular light in the midst of howling, swirling wind.  Their rainbow color tongues of fire flame on. Think of Pentecost.

Behold, the face of the ox, which represents Father God. A whole yellow-tan ox stands peacefully before you, He is strong. Hear a very powerful constant waterfall. See big white lilies with green leaves layered with the archway.

The current of the wind swirls around the archway with an infinity symbol that meets in the center of the arch – right in the center point of the Menorah. Hear Him say, “Go into the Menorah.” The center branch and center flame are highlighted. Behold, there is both a Seven Branch Menorah of the Temple and a Nine Branch Menorah of Hanukkah (i.e., Hanukkiah). Lift up the 9-Branch Hanukkiah in your right hand to light your way to His One-Dear-Land; and then, step into the center of the Temple Menorah (i.e., yourself).

Behold, a translucent blue pathway is before you with the ox there. A clear path is ahead of the ox. Hold up the Hanukkiah to light the way to follow the ox. Step in unison with the ox. With each step, the ox’s hooves strike the translucent blue path. It releases electric shocks. The atmosphere is charged.  Feel the surge of energy come through your feet. Behold, following in the Father’s footsteps feeds the entire atmosphere that you partake. Our Heavenly Father is infusing His frequency along with the glow of the Menorah’s flames. Allow your body to absorb His intensely charged goodness in order to be taken higher. Feel the sensation in your heart and see the seven rainbow colors of the Seven Spirits of God.

From the Father’s pathway rises golden flecks of light drifting up on a breeze, like fireflies at night. Behold, His pathway winds higher and higher and higher… Let yourself be drawn to be led by the ox up His revelatory pathway. Feel the significance – the weightiness – of the journey.

Behold, there are invisible tethers from the ox around your waist, so you can glide up His pathway. No effort is required beyond resting in Him.

Behold, the seven paths of the Seven Spirits of God run perfectly parallel, yet they are all overlain on each other. There are seven (several) different dimensions overlaid in the one. These paths of the Seven Spirits of God look like a double-image photo. They are all folded into one; but are separate. On the translucent blue path of the Spirit of Might (Power), we know that all seven paths are there.

Follow the ox. Follow our Heavenly Father. The ox moves forward on this dimensional translucent blue pathway with golden sparks. Feel yourself being chauffeured on His path. Feel the easy glide under your feet. Feel the movement of the air, as you move. Feel the excitement. Smell the cleaner and fresher air of the heights.

The Father’s perfect pathway leads to a level place on top with another archway. At the end of the gathering place in a field is an arch with an enormous throne underneath it on a platform. Actually, there is a center throne and three thrones on either side, just like the flames of Menorah. When we get to this elevated majestic archway, the Father’s tethers drop, and the ox walks through the ascended archway. The blue translucent pathway goes right through the center.

Behold, this pathway to the Father’s high place grows just ahead of His steps. Abba is creating the path of oneness of the Seven Spirits of God for the Bride of the Messiah. Hear: “There is room for all.”  The Bride of the Messiah are all together with Him in the center of creation.

Abba emphasizes the Hanukkiah lifted in the Bride’s right hand before the throne. We stand before the center throne looking out and we are absorbed into the ox. We look out through the big beautiful eyes of the ox that can see 360-degrees of endless vastness. We see the white lilies on either side of the meadow as well as other colorful petaled flowers (zinnias).

Look down. Your feet are bare. The ground is holy, and Messiah Yeshua is there before us. Yeshua takes the hand of His Bride and stands beside her looking out. The great big white lilies are emphasized again. We hear: “All creation.” The other petaled flowers are mingled in quite a bit of red and blue, which symbolizes the kings and priests of the Order of Melchizedek.

There is a cascade of petals raining down on Yeshua and His Bride like confetti. Hear the joy, the laughter, and the cheers.

The Seven Spirits of God are sitting on the seven thrones. These are the witnesses of this divine union. They are the judges that have been the Bride’s governors and tutors who give their permission for this match made in heaven. It is the enthronement of the Seven Spirits of God in the Messiah’s Bride. It is the enthronement of the tongues of fire. We understand that the flames of the Menorah are sentient beings. The oil moves as each flame speaks. These seven thrones are seats of authority in Him. These Seven Spirits embody the Nature of Christ within His Bride.

The celebration petals pile up around the newly married couple. Yeshua and His Bride are joined together in holy matrimony. The gigantic white lilies represent resurrection life. The colorful petaled flowers represent all dimensions of creation.

A heavenly scribe comes before the seven thrones to meet Yeshua and His Bride in the center. The scribe’s scroll is their ketubah (marriage contract) that contains the Hebrew Living Letters REYSH and KOOF. Yeshua and the Bride of Christ’s ketubah is all about what is highest and most important as well as holiness, specifically holiness on earth. The scribe describes the holiness of the match.

We see the six thrones rotate clockwise around the center one. It is the right way around. The Bride of the Messiah is one with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit here. This is the divine oneness of His Bride.

We hear an ancient unlocking sound. It feels so clean and new… so full of light.  In the rushing wind, we hear” “It is finished” over and over again with His song playing softly in the background “I Want to Marry You.”

Give em heaven!!!

TABERNACLES – HARVEST OF WINE & OIL

oil wine - Pariable of the Good Samaritan by Susan Minteer

There are three great harvest feasts in the Bible. The Feast of Tabernacles – Sukkot – is the third, final and biggest harvest season of Israel’s agricultural year.

During the annual harvest cycle, Is-real experiences a picture of the Lord as the God of increase. In the spring of the year at Passover, which is the first feast of the first month, an offering of first fruits of barley is waved before the Lord as a prophetic declaration that God will provide for the coming year. The First Fruits Offering was accompanied with a burnt offering of one male lamb (Leviticus 23:12). Significantly, the Feast of First Fruits (Bikkurim) is the literal day that Yeshua (Jesus) rose from the dead as the “firstborn among many brethren” (Romans 8:29).

The second harvest feast in a Biblical Year is the wheat harvest of Pentecost fifty days later during the third month. Two loaves of bread are waved before the Lord accompanied with a sacrifice of seven lambs (Leviticus 23:17-18). Pentecost is the literal day when the Torah (first five books of the Bible) and the Holy Spirit in the upper room was given. This portrays where true worshippers worship the Father in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24).

The third harvest ripens around the Feast of Tabernacles. This vital harvest in God’s Land produces the oil and wine. “Fullness” is connected to this harvest of grain, wine and oil as well as the heave offering – terumah (Numbers 18:27). Yeshua is our heave offering – a wholehearted contribution. The Body of Christ will follow the Head in all ways including the terumah. Our Beloved Messiah taught that the terumah offering that Moses gave in Numbers 18:25-31 was essentially a willing heart. Therefore, the congregation of the Living God is formed by having a willing heart or being wholehearted in having a heart to do the perfect will of the Father.

GROW THE TONGUES OF FIRE

Fire Baptism - Jim & Michael Ann Goll in Mozambique

The children of Is-real literally saw thunder and lightning. Saw thunder?! When you understand “thunder” in a Hebraic way, it means “a glorified voice of fire” while lightning communicates “speaking.” This glorified voice of fire on Mount Sinai was basically speaking: Will you marry Me? This was the message repeated exactly 400 years later in the Upper Room on the day of Pentecost (Shavuot in Hebrew). The room shook like Sinai, a cloud came in, and a pillar of fire appeared. The Pillar of Fire splits apart, as tongues of fire rest on each one of them. After Yeshua (Jesus) ascended (like Moses had ascended), these tongues of fire of the Holy Spirit on their heads were saying the same thing: Will you marry Me? Will you have Me and hold Me? Will you be faithful to Me and never let Me go?

The Ten Commandments were given to God’s people on the mountain of God. Those stuck in religion feel constrained by the term “commandments.” These Ten Sayings are actually a marriage contract that were etched in sapphire. They came from the Father’s own heart and have been bought for us by Yeshua’s Blood… the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world. A Hebrew Marriage Contract requires two people to come into agreement. The Father has written His side of the Marriage Contract with the finger of God. Now it’s your turn to respond. It’s time to grow the ten-percent deposit of the Holy Spirit into the 100-percent fullness of the mighty rushing wind and the tongues of fire.

SHAVUOT (PENTECOST) PICTURE OF THE ONE-NEW-MAN BRIDE

Harvest Bride

Yesterday, we learnt that Shavuot (Pentecost) is considered to be the Marriage Day between God and Is-real. Did you know that the Book of Ruth is read every Shavuot in Hebrew Houses of Worship? In traditional settings, the Book of Ruth is read on the second day of Shavuot.

It always behooves us Christians to look to the roots of our faith. The Hebrews give many explanations for the reading of Ruth during the Feast of Shavuot. The most quoted one is that Ruth came to Israel around Shavuot and she accepted the Hebrew’s God of the Torah (i.e., Word of God). They also mention that Ruth’s Biblical story takes place during the spring harvest of Shavuot. What I would like to point out for Christians is that Ruth was King David’s great-grandmother. Ruth is listed in the pure generations of the Messiah in Matthew 1:5 “And Salmon begot Boaz of his wife Rahab; Boaz begot Obed of his wife Ruth; Obed begot Jesse.”

Wow! Not once, but twice in Matthew 1:5 is the One New Man in Christ depicted (Ephesians 2:15). Both faithful Rahab and Ruth were gloriously grafted into the Messiah lineage. Shavuot has many names. One of them is the Feast of First Fruits. Bikkirum during the Passover Season marks the first fruits barley harvest (Jesus’ resurrection) while Shavuot hails the spring wheat harvest. In Ruth, who was a Moabite Gentile whose generations sinned greatly, we see the picture of the kinsman redeemer uniting the One New Man of Jew and Gentile in the Messiah.

I love the story of Ruth! Take the time to read its short, but meaty, four chapters. Today, we will only highlight the yumminess of the One New Man Bride and the beautiful kinsman redeemer portrayed in Boaz.

Naomi and Elimelech had two sons Malion and Calion. While staying in Moab, the two sons took Moabite wives Orpah and Ruth and Naomi husband died. Naomi and her sons’ families continued to dwell in Moab about ten years before both of Naomi’s sons died as well. This tremendous tragedy was the catalyst that caused Naomi, Orpah and Ruth to return to the land of Judah. On the journey home, Naomi pleaded to both of her daughter-in-laws to return home three times. After the second entreaty, Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, turned back and went away. It’s interesting that Orpah’s name means neck. In this case, the back of the neck.

Notice that when Orpah went back to her people, Ruth clung to Naomi (Ruth 1:14). Then some of the most beautiful words in the Bible are uttered by Ruth after Naomi tells Ruth to return to her home the third time: “Far be it from me to return from following after you, and to leave you; for where you go, I will go; and where you dwell, I will dwell; your people shall be my people, and your God, my God” (Ruth 1:16 Peshitta Aramaic). Talk about a bridal heart. This sold-out, devout heart in this Gentile caused her to fully-grafted into the Nation of Is-real.

Then, we have handsome, kind and wise Boaz. We are told that Boaz was a well-known man of wealth who was one of Naomi’s and Ruth’s nearest kinsmen. Notice in Ruth 2:20 Naomi tells Ruth “our nearest kinsman.” Heavy on the “our.” Even though the Book of Ruth doesn’t directly mention Jesus Christ, the whole book is about our redemption by Christ, our Kinsman Redeemer. The kinsman is the one who has the right to redeem, and the law of the Kinsman Redeemer is in the Jubilee chapter – Leviticus 25:25 – ” If one of your fellow Israelites becomes poor and sells some of their property, their nearest relative is to come and redeem what they have sold.” The law of the Kinsman Redeemer (among other things) is a picture of Yeshua (Jesus) buying our liberty through His death, burial and resurrection.

Listen to what Boaz (a type of Messiah) says to the faithful Ruth. “And Boaz said to her, I have been fully informed of all that you have done for your mother-in-law after the death of your husband; and how you have left your father and mother and your family, and come to a people that you did not know before. May the LORD God of Israel reward you, and may the One under whose wings you have come to take shelter recompense you” (Ruth 2:11-12). The Bible speaks of such a worthy heart: “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.  (Matthew 10:37-39 NKJV).

Long story, short. Boaz falls in love with the faithful, faithful Ruth. Boaz knows this woman’s value is greater than any gold. Read the integrity and vehemence of Boaz acting as Ruth and Naomi’s Kinsman Redeemer in Ruth chapter 4. I simply want to point out notice the lengths that Boaz and Ruth go to. Ruth and Boaz’s son Obed was known as “a son has been born to Naomi” (Ruth 4:17). Selfless bridal service and love. Selfless kinsman redemption from the Bridegroom. Great is the reward of the LORD God of Israel, for on every Shavuot, the great story of One-New-Man Bride Ruth is told.

SHAVUOT MARRIAGE CONTRACT

Ketubah - marriage contract in jewish religious tradition

In the eyes of a Hebrew (one who has crossed over), Passover (Pesach) is considered to be the time of Is-real’s engagement to God (i.e., betrothal) while Pentecost (Shavuot) is referred to as the Marriage Day between God and Israel (i.e., God’s people). Shavuot commemorates both God (as the Bride’s Father) giving the Word of God as a dowry on Mount Sinai, and Moses presenting the people of Israel themselves, as a dowry to Father God for His Son – Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha Machiach).

Let’s delve a little deeper into Shavuot signifying the Marriage Day. On Shavuot, the faithful people of Is-real are the Bride of the Messiah. On Shavuot, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is the Bridegroom who basically says: “Will you marry Me? Will you have Me and hold Me? Will you be faithful to Me and never ever let Me go?”

What I find very interesting is that both the marriage contract (ketubah in Hebrew) and the Bridegroom are both the Word of God. On the first Shavuot, the Torah given by God was His side of the marriage contract. When all the people at Mount Sinai said: “All that the LORD has spoken we will do” (Exodus 19:8), they committed to marry Him. It still remains that His Pure and Spotless Bride makes herself ready and present the Bride’s fulfilled side of the marriage contract (Revelation 19:7-8). Just as the Bridegroom did not come to destroy but fulfill the Word of God, so shall His Bride (Matthew 5:17). BTW – This will fulfill the spirit of the law of Moses. It will not be legalistic and yucky.

A Jewish Commentary – Midrash – says that Mount Sinai was lifted up over their heads on the day that the Hebrew Nation first drew near to hear the Ten Commandments from God’s own voice. Think about that! Mount Sinai lifted over the heads of the Bride of the Messiah, like a Chupah (wedding canopy). To this day, the Sephardic tradition recites the Ketubah le Shavuot (the marriage certificate for Pentecost) prior to the first Torah reading on the first day of Shavuot. They say that it’s a symbolic betrothal of God and His Bride.

There are many versions of the Ketubah le Shavuot, but they are all similar to the t’naim (the premarital document specifying the conditions agreed upon between the two parties), or the ketubah (the certificate the bridegroom presents to the bride at the wedding ceremony).

All the poems of the Ketubah le Shavuot are based on two verses:

• “I will betroth thee unto Me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto Me in righteousness, and in justice, and in lovingkindness, and in compassion. And I will betroth thee unto Me in faithfulness, and thou shalt know the Lord” (Hosea 2:21-22).

• “I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel” (Jeremiah 31:31).

Stay tuned! Tomorrow we will explore more about Shavuot.

For now, let’s meditate on the most widely used text for the Ketubah le Shavuot that was written by Israel Najara. It is found in the Sephardic Prayer Book for Shavuot. Notice that contract is dated the sixth day of the month of Sivan in the year 2448 from the creation of man, which is traditionally the day that the Hebrews recorded that the Torah was given. The Mishnah refers to the day of the giving of the Torah as the wedding day of King Solomon. Hebrews believe that the heavens and the earth witness this divine marriage certificate:

“Friday, the sixth of Sivan, the day appointed by the Lord for the revelation of the Torah to His beloved people… The Invisible One came forth from Sinai, shone from Seir and appeared from Mount Paran unto all the kings of the earth, in the year 2448 since the creation of the world, the era by which we are accustomed to reckon in this land whose foundations were upheld by God, as it is written, ‘For He hath founded it upon the seas and established it upon the floods’ (Psalm 24:2).

The Bridegroom [God], Ruler of rulers, Prince of princes, Distinguished among the select, Whose mouth is pleasing and all of Whom is delightful, said unto the pious, lovely and virtuous maiden [the people of Israel] who won His favor above all women, who is beautiful as the moon, radiant as the sun, awesome as bannered hosts: Many days wilt thou be Mine and I will be thy Redeemer.

Behold, I have sent thee golden precepts through the lawgiver Jekuthiel [Moses]. Be thou My mate according to the law of Moses and Israel, and I will honor, support, and maintain thee and be thy shelter and refuge in everlasting mercy. And I will set aside for thee, in lieu of thy virginal faithfulness, the life-giving Torah by which thou and thy children will live in health and tranquility.

This bride [Israel] consented and became His spouse. Thus an eternal covenant, binding them forever, was established between them. The Bridegroom then agreed to add to the above all future expositions of Scripture, including Sifra, Sifre, Aggadah, and Tosefta. He established the primacy of the 248 positive commandments that are incumbent upon all… and added to them the 365 negative commandments. The dowry that this bride brought from the house of her father consists of an understanding heart that understands, ears that hearken, and eyes that see.

Thus the sum total of the contract and the dowry, with the addition of the positive and negative commandments, amounts to the following: ‘Revere God and observe His commandments; this applies to all mankind’ (Ecclesiastes 12:13). The Bridegroom, desiring to confer privileges upon His people Israel and to transmit these valuable assets to them, took upon Himself the responsibility of this marriage contract, to be paid from the best portions of His property…

All these conditions are valid and established forever and ever.

The Bridegroom has given His oath to carry them out in favor of His people and to enable those that love Him to inherit substance. Thus the Lord has given His oath. The Bridegroom has followed the legal formality of symbolic delivery of this document, which is bigger than the earth and broader than the seas. Everything, then, is firm, clear, and established…

‘I invoke heaven and earth as reliable witnesses.’

‘May the Bridegroom rejoice with the bride whom He has taken as His lot and may the bride rejoice with the Husband of her youth while uttering words of praise.’”
