PARABLE OF 10 VIRGINS

Becoming part of God’s pure and spotless Bride doesn’t just automatically happen.

Have you ever considered the parable in Matthew 25 about the ten virgins? Virgins are believers via the Blood of the Lamb through the reception of the gospel of salvation. The gospel of the kingdom of heaven tells us that there were five wise virgins and five foolish ones who did not accompany the Heavenly Bridegroom into His marriage. While the foolish virgins had the door shut to them, the wise virgins went in because they had made themselves ready (Matt 25:10-12).

How did these blood-bought Wise Ones make themselves ready? Rev 19:7-8 tells us that the Lamb’s wife, the Bride (Rev 21:7) makes herself ready via righteousness.

The root meaning behind the Hebrew word for “righteousness” speaks that it’s a State of Being. To be or not to be really is the right question. The Messiah’s Bride will resonate at the same frequency as her Heavenly Bridegroom. Those things in our lives that are not plumb with God’s measuring line of righteousness (according to His Word) will cause us to resonate at a lower frequency than a pure & spotless one.

After several months of studying the concept of “righteousness” in the Bible, I concluded that the topic was so huge that it’s appears to be almost endless AND the bottom line for the Bride Company being formed here on earth is that James 2:21-23 shows us that “completed faith” or “perfect faith” is reckoned by God as righteous. It’s where a believer has matured into a full age son in a particular area of their lives where they have become an actual manifestation of the Living Word. It’s a place where these people’s actions line up with their words as well as with God’s Eternal Word.

Twice Scripture declares to end-time believers how to persevere: “they that keep the commandment of God, AND the faith of Yeshua – Jesus” (Rev 14:12). In fact, Rev 12:17 shows us that the children of the woman who appears in the sky crowned with the government of God (12 stars) and clothed with the sun (His Spirit) with the moon (her soul) under her feet is a picture of the Bride of Christ and her children that are made in the same image are those who “keep the commandments of God, AND have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” BTW – When we begin to see and enter God’s Kingdom (John 3:3,5), we have faith in Jesus; but when we begin to inherit the kingdom (1 Cor 6:9-10; Gal 5: 19-21), we will have the faith of Jesus, or in other words have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

What commandments are Rev 12:17 & Rev 14:12 talking about? That’s a huge discussion in and of itself, but please allow me to point out the actual commandments given to all believers at the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15. I call them “The Essential Commandments for all Believers, because Acts 15:28 points out that fact.

The Essential Commandments for All Believers are listed three times in Scripture. They are so important that they were mentioned twice when the founding church fathers discussed what the nations (Gentiles) needed to do to become part of God’s Household – Acts 15:19-20; Acts 15:28-29; Acts 21:25. Please don’t make light of these instructions, because in reality they are abstinence requirements that preserve the sanctity of holy matrimony for the Bride of Christ. These holiness requirements demonstrate a believer’s rejection of idolatry (wrongly focused worship) that still applies to us today. We just somehow lost track of these crucial commandments that are indispensable to making His Bride ready.

The restoration of this age-old foundation of The Essential Commandments for All Believers will require diligence, humility and teachability. Once the spirit of understanding comes, faithful friends will be required to come into agreement with the Way & the Truth & the Life and His Word by righteously aligning ones own words and deeds.

KINGDOM BRIDEGROOM

The first one to introduce us to introduce us to Yeshua (Jesus) being the Bridegroom is John the Baptist: “He who has a bride is the bridegroom; and the best man of the bridegroom is he who stands up and listens to him, and rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice; this my joy therefore is fulfilled. He must become greater and I lesser” (John 3:29-30 Aramaic).

Yeshua also spoke of Himself as the Bridegroom and revealed that God’s Kingdom would come when He returns:

• “Then the disciples of John came up to Him and said, Why do we and the Pharisees fast a great deal, and your disciples never fast? Jesus said to them, Is it possible for THOSE AT THE WEDDING FEAST to fast as long as THE BRIDEGROOM IS WITH THEM? But the days are coming when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then they will fast” (Matthew 9:14-15 Aramaic).

• “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to greet THE BRIDEGROOM AND THE BRIDE. Five of them were wise, and five were foolish. And the foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them. But the wise ones took oil in the vessels with their lamps. As the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry, Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to greet him! Then all the virgins got up and prepared their lamps. And the foolish ones said to the wise ones, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. Then the wise ones answered, saying, Why, there would not be enough for us and for you; go to those who sell and buy for yourselves. And while they went and buy, the bridegroom came; and those who were ready entered with him into the banqueting house, and the door was locked. Afterward the other virgins also came and said, Our lord, our lord, open to us. But he answered and said to them, Truly I say to you, I do not know you. Be alert, therefore, for you do not know the day nor the hour” (Matthew 25:1-13 Aramaic).

Yeshua tells us that “to you has been given the secret of the Kingdom of God” (Mark 4:11). I believe that the Bride of Christ is more complex than we previously understood. Notice that in the original Aramaic version of Matthew 25 verse 1 portrays the bridegroom and the bride coming for the virgins with lamps (i.e., believers); but only the wise virgins with oil are taken into the wedding feast with them. Also, notice that even though the bridegroom and bride comes for the ten virgins, Matthew 25:6 only mentions the bridegroom. Of course, this speaks of the pre-eminence that the bridegroom should always have; but it can also communicate that God’s people (i.e. exemplified in the ten virgins) have a limited understanding of the bride when the bridegroom comes.

God is showing me that the Bride of Christ is made up of the 144,000 spiritually pure Hebrew souls who are first fruits to God and the Lamb (Revelation 14:4) as well as the wise virgins (Matthew 25:10). These are the ones taken into the wedding feast where the Messiah and these precious souls become one. These are the kings and priests of the Order of Melchizedek who have led their own inner fire bride forth. These are the fully mature sons, united as one, with Messiah Yeshua in the One New Man energetic matrix called Metatron.

MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB

Have you ever thought about the consummation of the ages – the Marriage Supper of the Lamb? Yeshua the Bridegroom and His beloved Bride married as one … feasting together.

All Biblical Feasts are important bridal markers and part of His eternal Word. Remember how a couple days ago, we contemplated how the spring feasts of the Lord speak of Jesus’ first coming. The fall feasts speak of Jesus’ second coming. Hanukkah and Purim are pictures of His Church becoming the Bride of Christ. We also saw that the primitive root to the word “feasts” in 2 Chronicles 8:13 is the Hebrew word ya-ad. Ya-ad is the term used for when Adam intimately knew Eve. This primitive ya-ad root literally implies that the Lord is summoning His people to meet Him at His stated time, He is directing us into a certain position, and He is engaging us for marriage. Let’s focus on the two winter feasts portraying the Church’s journey to become His Bride. Hanukkah shows us a small ragtag group overcoming overwhelming odds to overthrow the Anti-Christ of their day while Purim displays the rightful queen of the land standing against the annihilation of her people – God’s people – for such a time as this.

These winter biblical feasts illustrate that becoming a precious part of God’s pure and spotless Bride doesn’t just automatically happen.

The parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25 tells that us the gospel of the kingdom of heaven can be pictured as five wise virgins and five foolish ones. Please understand that these “virgins” are all believers.

The foolish virgins had the door shut on them, as the wise virgins went in to the marriage supper, because the wise ones had made themselves ready (Matthew 25:10-12). How did these blood-bought wise ones make themselves ready? The voice of many waters in Revelation 19 tells us: “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, ‘Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.’ And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints Then He said to me, ‘Write: Blessed are those who are called to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb!’ And He said to me, ‘These are the true sayings of God’” (Revelation 19:6-9 NKJV).

Notice that it is the essence of the clothing – “the righteous acts of the saints” (i.e., righteousness) – that makes Lamb’s wife ready for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. The root meaning behind the Hebrew word for “righteousness” tells us that righteousness is a State of Being. Doing does not come before our State of Being, but our righteous acts are an outflow of who we truly are. Know that the Messiah’s Bride will resonate at the same frequency as her Beloved Bridegroom. Those things in our lives that are not plumb with God’s measuring line of righteousness (according to His Word) will cause us to resonate at a lower frequency than a pure and spotless one.

Notice that clothing is also the determining factor for the inappropriately dressed wedding guest that gets thrown out of the wedding banquet because of it: “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son …the wedding feast was filled with guests. But when the king came in to view the guests, he looked intently at a man there who had no wedding garment. And he said, Friend, how did you come in here without putting on the [appropriate] wedding garment? And he was speechless (muzzled, gagged). Then the king said to the attendants, Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:1, 10-13 AMP). Notice that the king calls this wedding guest “friend,” which means that he is a believer. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is the twelfth and final stage of a Jewish Wedding. It’s for all guests invited by the Father of the Bride who are appropriately dressed.

GOLDEN GATE OF MIRACLES

An Ancient Golden Gate of Thanksgiving and Awe has been prepared for this special season of lights, miracles and dedicating our temples to walk as Yeshua (Jesus) did. For those who choose to enter into Chanukah, there’s a greater grace given to become one with Him, as His pure and spotless Bride, as well as it being a door to a life that’s full of signs, wonders and miracles. If you need a creative miracle, it can be found in the Winter One-dear-land where Yeshua walked in Solomon’s Colonnade.

The name “Feast of Miracles” is another term for Chanukah. When anyone asks why a Christian would celebrate Chanukah, the simplest and most direct answer is that Yeshua did. “Jesus gave them this answer: ‘I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself; he can do only what He sees His Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does’” (John 5:19). So when Yeshua celebrated Chanukah on earth, significantly, His Heavenly Father participated also. Stop and really think about that. Our precious Heavenly Father not only approved of Chanukah, but joined in the festivities. In fact, the days of Chanukah were designated as festivals of praise and thanksgiving, because the His people recognized the annual return of the same kind of spiritual force that resulted in the original miracle.

The only direct reference to Chanukah in Scripture is John 10:22-23: “Then came the Feast of Dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter and Jesus was in the temple area walking in Solomon’s Colonnade.” Not only is Chanukah called the Feast of Miracles, but it’s also called the Feast of Lights and Feast of Dedication. Today, we are zeroing in on MIRACLES.

Jesus walked in Solomon’s Colonnade during the feast of Chanukah declaring His miraculous works plainly revealed that He was the Messiah. Israel’s priests had previously concluded that when they heard the testimony of someone being healed of the incurable disease of leprosy, it would be an obvious sign of the Messiah… that He had come. And not only that, but the Messiah would also restore the sight of someone born blind. The lame born lame would walk. When John the Baptist asked Jesus: Are you the One? Yeshua sent back the message: Tell John the blind see, the leper is cleansed, the lame walk and the captives are set free (Matthew 11:4-5). These and even greater works believers are still called to do.

How many of these miracles happen today? How many have you personally seen? DID YOU KNOW THAT THE CHURCH, UNIVERSALLY, WAS A SUPERNATURAL COMMUNITY PRIOR TO THE PAGAN FEAST BEING INTEGRATED INTO THE CHURCH’S CALENDAR? We’ll go into how the assimilation of pagan feasts mixed the holy with the profane in God’s eyes and moved His manifest dwelling presence (evidenced by miracles) from His Sanctuary in a future post. For now, simply note that the first recorded evidence of Christmas actually taking place on December 25th isn’t found until the time of Constantine in 336 A.D.

For the first 300 years, nothing resembling Christmas existed in the Christian Church’s calendar. The Church followed the pattern established by the apostles. They experienced a life and a power the world could not comprehend. Christ’s Church, in its primal form, celebrated the Lord’s Feasts. Daily, even several times a day, miracles occurred. Jesus set precedence when He walked in Solomon’s Colonnade during the Feast of Miracles declaring the miracles done by God’s kingdom had come upon them.

Significantly, Solomon’s Colonnade was not only the place associated with miracles, but it was also the place ALL the believers met (Acts 5:12). It’s the place where His apostles performed many miracles, signs, and wonders among the people (Acts 3:11); but one might miss this fact, because Solomon’s Colonnade was on the east side of God’s Temple and sometimes the writers of Scripture referred to the Eastern Gate instead of Solomon’s Colonnade. Just like Chanukah, the Eastern Gate of Jerusalem has three names: [1] Eastern Gate, [2] Beautiful Gate, and [3] Golden Gate. This is the place where Yeshua returns: “For just as the lightning come from the east, and flashes even to the west, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be (Matt. 24:27 NASB). I believe this is a picture for us now spiritually with a future physical manifestation of Yeshua returning as well.

Recall that there’s a flaming sword, which turns every which way, to keep the way to the Tree of Life (Gen. 3:24). The flame of the sword alludes to lightning coming from the east and from His throne (Rev. 4:5). This flaming sword is the All-Consuming Fire who’s name is the Word of God that is truly able to as judge the thoughts and intents of our heart (Heb. 4:12).

Now is the time to open up our ancient golden gates, so the King of Glory can come in (Psa. 24:7). This is the Kingdom Day to worship God His way. This is the Kingdom Day where His set apart people will cleanse their temples, and will operate in signs, wonders and miracles as a result. God’s people need to first deal with the mixture that was brought into the church that cut it off from its holy and pure connection to its power supply. If you want to be part of His pure and spotless Bride and operate in her naturally supernatural state, you will have to pass through His gateway of awe that rids us of all mixture in His sight.

CHANUKAH DEVOTION FOR NIGHT 4:

Yeshua walked in Solomon’s Colonnade during the Feast of Miracles declaring the miracles done by God’s kingdom had come upon them. All the passages that speak of Solomon’s Colonnade tell us it’s a place of miracles and where all believers met.

Solomon’s Colonnade is also called Solomon’s Porch. It was built by Solomon on the east side of the temple. From this side, the glory is supposed to fill God’s temple. A porch or portico is a covered area adjoining an entrance to a building and usually has a separate roof. Spiritually speaking, it represents the place where a believer already has entered the temple (i.e., a relationship with God), but not the building (i.e., become a permanent dwelling place for God). I believe that the celebration of Chanukah holds several keys for end-time believers.

Chanukah is celebrated in winter when things look asleep, just as all ten virgins in Matthew 25 were asleep because “the Bridegroom was a long time in coming” (Matt. 25:5). By the way, both the wise and foolish virgins are representative of believers.
