COMPASSION & PERFECT PRAYERS

In NO MAN’S LAND, the royal priests of the Most High God have compassion on those lacking knowledge and the wayward due to their own frailties; and thus, they are able to offer up passionate prayers and tearful supplications.

This Holy Priesthood are called by God Himself, and ordained by Him for men in things pertaining to God. These priests taken among men glorify not themselves, but the Father through whom they are begotten sons. As His promised sons, we learn obedience by the things we suffer, so we can be made perfect after the Order of Melchizedek. These are the ones who are heard of the Father, because their reverential fear of the Lord.

“For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God … And NO MAN takes this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. So also Christ glorified not himself to be made high priest; but He that said unto Him, Thou art My Son, today have I begotten thee. As He said in another place, Thou art a priest forever after the Order of Melchizedek. Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplication with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared; Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered; And being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him; Called of God a high priest after the Order of Melchizedek” (Hebrews 5:1,4-10).

NOTE: NO MAN’S LAND is the place where people daily yield to LOVE and His crucifixion process, which enables their Kingdom of Self to disappear and the Kingdom of God to appear.

Accurate identity brings new levels of Intimacy. Out of all the disciples, John had the most intimate relationship with Jesus. This is shown in how he constantly rested his head on Jesus’ bosom. We, through Christ, can find ourselves in this kind of intimate position with The Father. We reach this place by walking in our identity as Firstborn sons:

“No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten (firstborn) Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him” (John 1:18).

We are in Christ and He is in us. He, as the Firstborn Son, is in the bosom of the Father. Therefore, when we walk in our identity as Firstborn sons, we come to the position of ‘being in the bosom of the Father’ – a place a greater intimacy.

Maturity in identity = Growth in Intimacy

Christ’s Baptism of Fire was His crucifixion (Matt 3:11). We are called to be like Him. Becoming a daily burnt offering, where we voluntarily offer our Kingdom of Self to be burnt up in its entirety (as a pleasing fragrance to the LORD) literally allows the kingdoms of your earth to become the kingdoms of our God (Rev 11:15).

DESTROY THAT WALL OF SELF-PROTECTION!

I believe that the biggest end-time battle is actually fought on the soil of SELF. It’s a war between the Holy Three in One (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and the Unholy Threesome of me, myself and I. I say this, because the LORD led me to read The Satanic Bible while doing research for a book that was to be written in total obedience to Him. What truly amazed me was that it was like a self-help book. The doctrine promoted within The Satanic Bible is self-indulgence, self-satisfaction, self-gratification, and self-rule. Without going into any more detail, the father of modern Satanism proclaimed: “In this new age, the only moral commandment will be, ‘Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.” The Satanic Kingdom can be equated to the Kingdom of Self. What many people don’t realize is that Babylon is focused on SELF as well: “The Babylonians, that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the earth… They are a law to themselves… whose strength is their god” (Habukkuk 1:6,7,11).

Just keep in mind that the Hebrew pictograph (or Word Picture) for the word “pride” tells us that pride is to lift up yourself in your own strength, while the Hebrew Word Picture for “humility” shows us that humility comes when you destroy your wall of self-protection. Please note that SELF is the key ingredient that determines whether one is full of pride or humility.

I remember when our Beloved started showing me my walls of self-protection. He was drawing me closer through this irresistible love. I came closer and closer, until He told me that He couldn’t come any closer. Love told me that my walls of self-protection that I had built to protect myself from the hurt and pain caused by other people, actually kept Him out as well to the degree that I had built the wall. That was news to me, and I desperately wanted to tear down that wall. But how? He first had me confess my sin of self-protection (1 John 1:9); then we (with some help of some godly friends) began to dismantle my wall of self-protection one brick at a time. I desperately prayed, and still pray, for humility and a teachable heart almost every day. I knew that I was guilty of having lifted myself up in my own strength so many times that it was a habit, and I had to turn to Yeshua (i.e., salvation) who literally was my only salvation.

As we tore down my wall of self-protection through me staying humble and teachable, He taught me more and more of His glorious irresistible love. I remember crossing the street one day, when it hit me. I told Him with a forlorn tone, “I don’t even know how to love.” His response: “What a good place to start. Finally… we can begin.”

We worked and worked and worked together in a labor of love. Then one day He came to me. He told me that I had done a good job working to destroy my wall of self-protection by trying to stay open and running to Him for shelter in life’s storm; then He placed a thorn in my heart, and told me that this is what I needed for the wall of self-protection in me to be completely destroyed. That was in 2002.

I had forgotten about the thorn that Love had placed in my heart until January of 2012. I’d prefer to sum up the situation in a few lines, but I must yield to revealing a greater amount of detail because this is what He desires. Let me just preface that we can and should work at destroying our walls of self-protection (as unto the LORD), but our final deliverance comes through a crucifixion process.

The LORD had led me to be in silent servant mode for several years in the congregation that my family attended for 15 years. Prior to being released to go to a Sunday Night Prophetic Prayer Gathering, My Love told me that when I step out in my apostolic-prophetic-teaching anointing again that I was going to get hit. So… I was on high alert. There was an open mic that night, but knowing that something was probably coming I okayed what I was getting from the LORD with the lead pastor before I stepped out. He assured me that it was an open mic led by the Spirit, so I led a prayer for a friend who had just lost his father. I thought: “Okay. That wasn’t so bad.” Then the lead pastor got up and started sharing what God gave him. I got a sinking feeling, because what the LORD gave me in the car ride over there perfectly dovetailed with what he was sharing. I recognized the Holy Spirit’s scarlet cord. So… I sauntered over to a good mature friend, and told her my dilemma. She assured me that if God gave it to me then just obey. So… I swallowed hard. Pulled up my breeches to rein in any fear and released da LOVE.

My piece was very simple and small. I told all present that night that we can all experience God. We can all see, hear, and perceive what the Spirit of the Lord is saying, according to the gifts deposited in each one of us. All we need to do is get in right alignment. By our will, we all can choose to have our bodies submit to our souls, our souls submit to our spirits, and our spirits submit to the Holy Spirit. I was also led to say that our spirit intersects with our soul at our will. That’s why not my will, but Thine be done is such a powerful kingdom concept. So let’s do this, so Thy Kingdom come! They will be done!

I finished my little part, and was relieved that I was still in one piece. I thought maybe I had heard the LORD wrong, until I went to the back of the room. After I hugged a girlfriend, and told her how much Jesus loved her, I stepped back to enter into a prayerful stance when I noticed that there was a shadow to the left of me, so I stepped to my right to avoid it. As I did, I felt my left arm being grabbed real hard and then I was being shook around like a rag doll. After the other pastor shook me, he raged at me and told me that he didn’t want me ministering to anyone. I was so calm inside, as I stared in amazement at a Jezebel Spirit that was manifesting right in front of my eyes. I remember being more concerned with the spiritual than the natural at the time. As I told him, “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve okayed what I was doing with the lead pastor,” he stormed away, as I sunk into the back wall, stunned, to say the least. When both pastors came to get me, I was still checking in with the LORD trying to understand what was going on. When the lead pastor pointed at me and said, “I will have no division in my church. You two work it out.” I thought something like: “Great… I’m being thrown into the lions den.”

I went with the pastor who just abused me into the foyer. The first thing he said was “I am the door you must come through me.” I just stared that man down. Incensed that He would defame My Love’s Word like that and use it as an excuse to abuse someone, especially when there were so many young people in the church. When I didn’t budge and didn’t appear to be afraid, the pastor came to himself for a moment and said, “I mean Jesus is the door.” Then he flipped backed to being controlled by Jezzy and proclaimed, “But you must come through me.”

I had been previously taught by Love that when someone inserts themselves into your life for evil or destruction, you have the right in the Spirit to insert yourself in their life to bring about their redemption. It’s a glorious way to overcome evil with good. So… that is what I was led to do that entire night at church.

Long story, short, I tossed and turned all night afterward. Love keep on telling me to run into Him, and to stay open to Him. It took all my will to do so, because I literally wanted to run inside myself and hide. About 3:00 PM the next afternoon I finally couldn’t take it any longer, and I cried out from the depths of my being: “Lord!!! I can’t take this any longer! Please!!! Help me!” Immediately, a searing bright laser light descended from heaven and burned a layer off me. I just knew that my final layer of self-protection was gone; then I remembered the thorn that Yeshua had placed in my heart. In hindsight, I knew that the thorn eventually attracted a crucifixion experience, but I also felt the reverential fear of the Lord with the message of “woe” to the man through whom it would come. This experience could have actually delivered him too, but I discovered in this experience that by the time an authority figure abuses another person publicly they are pretty far gone. Repentance and redemption were available and I was praying my heart out, but he was too busy trying to keep me in line and keep their own kingdom intact to look at his own heart and actions. Please note: Our message to others means nothing if we don’t love them first and foremost.

There was a time in my life that I needed self-protection in hurtful and abusive situations. It’s actually a way God has designed for all of us to survive when we don’t know what else to do. But now I choose LOVE. I choose humility. I choose to be teachable. I choose my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer, My God in whom I can trust.

“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things” (1 Corinthians 13:11 NKJV).

All Kingdom Hearts who are growing into the image of His mature Body will grow beyond the darkness of the Kingdom of Self. If one looks in the dictionary, there are over 100 words with the word SELF in front of them. Each one can be thought of as steps up a Babylonian ziggurat (pyramid) to exult SELF. Self-protection is just one of these steps, but… oh… what a stumbling stone.

The first verse I memorized at Big Sky Bible Camp after I was saved at 7-years-old was John 3:16. The second verse was Job 23:10: “But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.” Keep on pressing onward & upward to the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus, Dear Heart. You shall come forth as gold!

POSSESSOR OF HEAVEN & EARTH

Before Abram got his name changed, Melchizedek blessed him: “Blessed be Abram to God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth” (Genesis 14:19). If you want to become a fully mature son of the Order of Melchizedek who possesses heaven and earth, you must follow in the footsteps of Abraham.

After Abram zealously destroyed all his family’s idols as well as the ability to sell and reproduce those idols, Nimrod threw Abram into a fiery furnace many moons before Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. BTW – Abraham’s journey is connected to the Kingdom of God while Nimrod is connected to the Kingdom of Self. Both Abram and Nimrod can represent warring factions within each one of us: “For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members” (Romans 7:22-23 KJV). One chooses to go through the refining process while the other tries to avoid it by throwing others into the scorching fire.

After Abram was miraculously rescued from the fire, Abram got a short reprieve from Nimrod’s persecution of the worshippers of YHVH – one day. The next night Nimrod had a dream, which was interpreted as forecasting Nimrod’s defeat by Abram. The “law of sin” within us (the places in us that are not perfectly aligned with His righteous plumb line) knows that our heavenly man within – “the law of God after the inward man” – will be its end, and we sometimes fight our need for our daily crucifixion process. “Then He [Yeshua] said to all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23 NKJV).

Afterward the dream, Nimrod’s plotted to secretly kill Abram, so Abram immigrated to the land of Canaan. Abram’s journey illustrates a profound kingdom truth in our day. In this kingdom day, God’s people will come out of Babylon… out of the fiery furnace from which they emerged after they chose to destroy all their family’s idols. After we come out of Babylon, we will temporarily go back into the world (Egypt) where our fear of man will be tested even more. After our sojourn in Egypt, we will return to our Promise Land where we must first conquer the rulership of Babylonian practices and mindsets in our own lives before we can receive the fullness of the ministry of Melchizedek. We must dethrone the same Babylonian kings that Abram did.

Abram supernaturally overcame four Babylonian kings, which represents the rulership of his entire earth. The four names of the Babylonian kings in Genesis 14:1 tell us that we need to overthrow from within: darkness, deception, savagery, mercilessness, false positions, and producing after the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Does this mean we conquer those Babylon kings in our genes by His Blood and dethrone them in our life? Yes. This will happen, but I personally believe that we have to recognize our agreement with anything that is earthly, fleshly or carnal first before we can be transformed. Confession and repentance are huge tools in our restoration to our primordial state as it was in the beginning before the Fall.

If you will put your hand to the plow in such matters and be attentive to His slightest prompting to follow Him to the utmost, HE is the one who knows the way that you need to take in order to come forth as gold… So surrender to His process always endeavoring to be in right relationship first with Him and also with other people. Easier said than done, but keep being faithful choosing to be one with the All-Consuming fire on the Throne and you will overcome… be completely one (the exact same essence).

CONTINUAL LIVING SACRIFICE

The third, and most arduous, leg of the Bride’s Baptism of Fire creates a blazing Fire Bride whose flame never goes out. This is the place where purification is consummated, which is a quantum leap beyond salvation and sanctification. It’s a final transformative stage, which facilitates our becoming one with the All-Consuming Fire. It causes the New Jerusalem to resound with renown with the perfect frequency of our Bridegroom.

Please recall that the kings and priests of the Order of Melchizedek are the predecessor of the Bride (i.e. they prepare the Bride and are the pool from which the Bride comes). When royal priests burn to become just like Him, they will go all-out to become a Continual Living Sacrifice, which will be their ultimate spiritual sacrifice.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you PRESENT YOUR BODIES A LIVING SACRIFICE, HOLY, ACCEPTABLE TO GOD, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2 NKJV).

“You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES ACCEPTABLE TO GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST” (1 Peter 2:5 NKJV).

You may have seen fire birds lately in the Spirit, because the fiery birds of a feather that are flocking together in this Kingdom Day are various wings of the Order of Melchizedek flying by the Spirit with one another. These passionate ones only glory in the cross:

“But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus … availeth … a new creature” (Galatians 6:14-15 KJV).

Christ’s Baptism of Fire was His crucifixion (Matt 3:11). His Bride will not shun the need to join Him in this regard for the sake of His Body. BECOMING A MANIFESTED SON WHO IS A CONTINUAL LIVING SACRIFICE IS A DEEP RED MYSTERY, WHICH CULMINATE’S IN THE BRIDE’S COMPLETE BAPTISM OF FIRE THAT LITERALLY HITS THE BLOODSHOT BULL’S EYE OF THE FATHER.

Please recall that the full stature of His crimson flow makes it necessary for His Mature Body to grow up into Him in all things as well as each member of His Mature Body needing to fill up the afflictions of Christ in their flesh for His Body’s sake (Ephesians 4:15; Colossians 1:24-25). The Corporate One New Man in Christ will accurately display to all the world the fullness of the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ the same way that all fullness dwelt in Yeshua (Jesus) – through the blood of the cross (Col 1:19-20). This is a key component to Yeshua’s Mature Head attaching to His Mature Body (Daniel 7:9; Revelation 1:14).

As the previous HITTING THE BULL’S EYE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS articles illustrate, the way of righteousness for both His Melchizedek Company and Bridal Company consists of progressive crucifixion steps, which are spiritual sacrifices He still requires of His Holy Priesthood. For those who desire to completely crucify their own sin nature, Jeremiah 33:18 holds the key to the Bride’s Baptism of Fire in its fullness:

[1] offer burnt offerings,
[2] burn grain offerings, and
[3] prepare sacrifices continually.

A Bridal Candidate’s quest for purification includes all of these offerings by fire. Understand that we are speaking about spiritual principles, not literal animal sacrifices in this Kingdom Day. Like all series of three in Scripture, these crucifixion steps (where we join Yeshua on the cross) are listed from easiest to hardest. They also illuminate our way that leads to His Mature Body being prepared to do the perfect fiery will of the Father. Today is all about the third and final crucifixion step.

“Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: ‘Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but A BODY PREPARED FOR ME. … Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come – In the volume of the book it is written of Me – TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD.” (Hebrews 10:5,7 NKJV).

Verse 9 of Hebrews 10 tells us that He took away the first (literal sacrifices and offerings) to establish the second, which is Christ’s Body prepared to do His will. The principles behind the offerings listed in Jeremiah 33:18 literally show His kings and priests how the Messiah’s Body is prepared, so it perfectly fits on the Head of the King of Kings.

The New Living Creature of Crucified Ones who is a Corporate One New Man in the Messiah will be the same essence as the All-Consuming Fire, which means our hearts, minds and works will have been thoroughly tested by fire (1 Corinthians 3:11-15; Hebrews 12:27-29).

Reigning Ones will manifest being an everlasting offering by fire, as they come out the other side of the All-Consuming Fire. They will be emblazon with the name: “The Lord is our righteousness” (Jeremiah 33:16), and will continue to remain seated in the Sapphire Throne with Him (Ephesians 2:6; Revelation 3:21).

There is a purpose for this Continual Living Sacrifice place where His Holy Royal Priesthood prepares the truest sacrifice of themselves. This purpose is where Crucified Ones earn their title by bringing their entire carnal nature to the Lord’s Altar, so it can be totally burnt up and the fullness of Christ can dwell in them.

To gain greater insight into our highest reality of being a Continual Living Sacrifice, we need to understand how the High Priest used to prepare sacrifices for God’s Altar:

[1] THROAT SLIT & BLOOD DRAINED – We must exchange our life in the flesh for His life in the Spirit. We are losing ourselves, so that we might be found in Him.

[2] HEAD CHOPPED OFF – The Head of the Body of Christ is in charge. We are to walk in the same manner as Yeshua who demonstrated: “Not My will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42).

[3] SKIN REMOVED – We need to get rid of all self-protection, self-righteousness, and any self-defense mechanisms that are barriers to wholly connecting with God. His Sons of Light epitomize vulnerability and transparency.

[4] SPLIT BODY COMPLETELY OPEN & WASH INWARD PARTS – Our heart and soul must be refined and purified, then washed with the water of the word (Eph 5:26) and the Spirit of regeneration (Titus 3:5). A Continual Living Sacrifice demonstrates that all things belong to God. The Cherubim Classification of the Order of Melchizedek must fulfill the 10 Copper Chariot Laver picture in Solomon’s Temple in this regard.

[5] LEGS CHOPPED OFF – Continual Living Sacrifices cannot walk their own way. It’s impossible. They need the supernatural legs of the Messiah, which are activated through their daily surrender to the Spirit’s leading (John 5:19).

Just know that Continual Living Sacrifices who prepare themselves for use in God’s Kingdom constantly prove what the perfect will of God is (Rom 12:2). My Webster’s College Dictionary says that the word “prove” is an action verb, which is defined as:

• to learn or find out by experience
• to test the truth, validity, or genuineness of
• to test the worth or quality of, specifically: to compare against a standard
• to check the correctness of
• to establish the existence, truth or validity of (as by evidence)
• to demonstrate as having a particular quality of worth
• to show (oneself) to be worthy or capable
• to turn out, especially after trial or test

Proving the perfect will of God involves working it out with fear and trembling as well as renouncing and giving up our own ways for His way for His Kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven. When we are crucified daily in union with Christ according to the plumb line of His Word of Righteousness, our inward and outward appearance will be transformed into His same image from glory to glory until we plainly prove the righteous character of Christ.

His pure and spotless Bride will exemplify co-crucifixion with her Beloved. Every time we make His specified spiritual sacrifice, it will cause those after the Order of Melchizedek to decrease in their own strength and increase in the way of eternal life. His complete Bridal Baptism of Fire of our Kingdom of Self will cause His Continual Living Sacrifices to operate wholly and fully in the Kingdom of God.

May the Kingdom of Self disappear and the Kingdom of God appear in you and me.

HOLD FAST TO THE HEAD

I so agree with Wendy Christie when she says: “If you want to hold on to idols this coming year, it will not go well with you. God’s mercy will cause a GREAT SEPARATION … There will be a great contrast between those who are IN CHRIST and those who are not. This is so ALL can SEE right where they stand and have a chance to REPENT. Make no mistake about it. This is an act of God’s mercy. My heart grieves; because I have witnessed this past holiday season a great number of people who love God dearly who are either unwilling or unable to look at the mixture involved in celebrating Christmas. I too see and have warned in my “THIS IS CHRISTMAS” series of articles (see below) that people who hold onto idols will be on the short end of the stick when it comes to the contrast between those who are IN CHRIST and those who are not. Yeshua can not, and will not, join Himself to idols, and Christmas is the Granddaddy of them all – literally being made in the exact same image as the Golden Calf that Aaron built (Refer to http://wp.me/p158HG-2m and http://wp.me/p158HG-kH ).

This is a year that everyone will know where they stand in relation to being IN CHRIST. I again use Wendy Christie’s words in this regard: “There will be a great contrast between those who are IN CHRIST and those who are not. This is so ALL can SEE right where they stand and have a chance to REPENT. Make no mistake about it. This is an act of God’s mercy. On one hand you will SEE judgment and on the other justice. On one hand you will SEE chaos and on the other the ORDER of God. On one hand you will SEE condemnation and on the other great blessing.” If there appears to be judgment from the Lord, chaos or condemnation in your life, turn to Him and repent; because it’s His mercy that is showing you the reality of your life’s choices. The shaking will not let up until you turn to Him with your whole heart, soul, mind and strength, because of His great love for you.

“So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.” (Colossians 2:16-17 NKJV).

It’s ironic that Christian theologians have used Colossians 2:16-17 to justify mixing holy things with the unholy, because within this very chapter it spells out two critical components to dwelling in No Man’s Land. BTW – No Man’s Land is the place where people daily yield to His crucifixion process, which causes one’s Kingdom of Self to disappear so the Kingdom of God can appear within and without:

[1] In No Man’s Land, Crucified Ones will NOT allow themselves to be diverted, deceived, or beguiled from receiving their eternal rewards to the satisfaction of the flesh (Colossians 2:18, 23).

[2] In No Man’s Land, Crucified Ones rightly judge (open the Door of Life) to the Lord’s marks in time, so that Christ’s Body can connect to their mature Head, who is casting the shadow.

We need to look with fresh eyes at whether Colossians 2:16-17 gives Christians a plausible reason to no longer exclusively celebrate the Lord’s Feasts. We are told that the marks of time that the Lord Himself put in place to set His people’s years, months and weeks – festivals, new moons and sabbaths – are but a shadow of things to come and their substance are found in the Messiah. Yeshua is the substance; but we must comprehend that a shadow always resembles its substance. When Scripture says something is a shadow of things to come, it means that we will be answering to the Creator who is casting the shadow.

We don’t have to guess what Yeshua’s substance is. Scripture tells us that His Name is “The Word of God” (Revelation 19:13). The substance of the Lord’s celebrations is found in the Messiah, and it lines up with what’s articulated in His Word. “These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found IN CHRIST” (Colossians 2:17 NIV). Yeshua – the Head – and His Body are suppose to be the substance – the living breathing reality of His festivals, new moons and sabbaths.

Believers are not told to not celebrate the Lord’s Feasts in Colossians 2:16-17, but to not let anyone judge us in regard to them, which means people should not criticize, censure, condemn. or punish other people for the way they feel led to celebrate a Biblical Festival, a New Moon celebration, or a Sabbath because all of us are answering to the One casting the shadow. There is an assumption in the statement “Don’t let anyone judge you” that the Lord’s people are already eating, drinking and celebrating things His way. It’s similar to when God states in Matthew 6 “when you give to the needy,” “when you pray,” and “when you fast;” the Lord is assuming that His people are already giving, praying and fasting.

Colossians 2:6-12 speaks of how those who walk IN CHRIST dwell in the fullness of Christ bodily. The growth process for His Crucified Ones requires that we not only take up our cross daily, but we also follow the Messiah in all three of His baptisms (Matthew 3:11) , so we can rise with Him having put off the body of sins of the flesh.

Colossians chapter 2 repeated warns us in verses 8, 18, 20-23 that:

• God’s people can be spoilt “after the traditions of man, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ” (Colossians 2:8 KJV). There is no other celebration that is more steeped in the traditions of man and the basic principles of the world than Christmas.

• God’s people can be beguiled through a voluntary submission to another gospel and the worshipping of angels (Colossians 2:18). To be beguiled is to be deceived or hoodwinked, especially by something that appears to be agreeable. It’s something that engages your interest by deceitful cunning, duplicity, and trickery. So you tell me: Are Christians supposed to be ignorant of the fact that Satanists know that Santa is an anagram for Satan, and some of their clubs even use a Santa with a cigar to mark their meeting places? Satan (aka Santa) is the personification of the fallen angel Lucifer (Revelation 12:9) whom even God’s people worship when we voluntarily submit to following the ways of the world and we worship Jesus according to what the world tells us to do to rather that His word.

• God’s people can be deceived by being vainly puffed up by their fleshly mind (Colossians 2:18). How many Christian minds are vainly puffed up by their fleshly mind thinking they know what’s better than what’s been spelled out in Scripture? It’s a question that demands a verdict in this hour, because God’s mercy is going to be showing each one of His people which side of the Christmas divide they are on. Your life will reveal whether you are IN CHRIST or not? If things are a shaking, please turn to Him.

• God’s people are supposed to be dead with Christ from the sensual requirements of the world and satisfaction of their flesh (Colossians 2:20-23). So why do we do submit to what the world tells us to do to celebrate Yeshua (Jesus)? Why do we put up those originally pagan Christmas trees, lights, etc? Why do we choose by our own will to worship after the traditions of man? Christmas feeds our senses and feels oh so good. “This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic” (James 3:15 NKJV). Are we called to enter into the same Spirit of Christmas, but believe that the Christian version is better and sanitized, even though history can trace Christmas’s root to Babylon and 95-96% of the world participates in Christmas? God’s Word says, “No.”

Colossians 2:23 says that the fleshly worship that we voluntarily choose to participate in neglects the Messiah’s Body, because these seemingly innocent things cause His people to NOT hold fast to the Head – Christ. They also cause His Body to NOT be joined and knitted together in love due to His people walking and sowing to their flesh rather than to Spirit of the Living God (Rom 8:1,4-5; Col 2:19,23; Eph 4:15-16).

I heard: “This is your year. All that I’ve placed within you will be made know this year. This is a year to hold fast to the Head — the Messiah (Christ).” Let it be so.

DEDICATION OF OUR TEMPLE -CLEANSING

The Beautiful Gate of the Feast of Dedication (Chanukah) opens a greater grace to becoming one with Him as His pure and spotless Bride. This is a time when Yah (God) Himself is literally communicating to individual members of His Body how He wants our temples dedicated as holy. Possibly the greatest mystery concealed within His Winter One-der-land of Chanukah speaks about cleansing our temple from the mystery of iniquity during this season to dedicate it anew for a holy purpose.

Within the DNA of Chanukah is the struggle between two kingdoms. The Syrian-Greeks are a picture of the Kingdom of Self while the faithful remnant of Yah’s people epitomize the Kingdom of God. God declared something noteworthy when He choose to stamp His salvation with a miracle of light. Recall that not only does Chanukah celebrate His people’s military victory by a small ragtag righteous remnant, but the miraculous provision of oil needed to light God’s Temple so they could clean it out and rededicate it to the Lord. Their struggle was more than a fight for self-respect and freedom. Chanukah is a picture of God’s people waging a war of light against darkness.

Jewish Sages have chosen the term “darkness” to describe the Antichrist of this age. The villain of the Chanukah story is the Syrian-Greek King Antiochus Epiphanes IV. Antiochus, who took the name Epiphanes – God manifest – is rightly portrayed as an Antichrist. Not only did he pollute God’s altar by offering up a pig (the most profane sacrifice possible) on the 15th of Kislev in 168 BC, but he forced God’s people to bow before a false Greek sun god (Zeus) under the penalty of death beginning on the 25th of Kislev. This portrays a primary issue that the Lord our God is asking His people to cleanse in our day. WE NEED TO CLOSELY EXAMINE THE THINGS THAT WE ARE SACRIFICING ON GOD’S ALTAR TO WORSHIP HIM. WHAT DOES HE THINK OF OUR WINTER ONE-DER-LAND WORSHIP? BTW – Before the Roman shift in time, December 25th marked the ancient winter solstice, and this day was known throughout antiquity as the birthday of the pagan sun gods.

The Antiochus Antichrist did his homework. He outlawed and made punishable with death anything and everything that would keep God’s people holy. He desecrated God’s Holy Temple in Jerusalem with pig’s blood, and replaced it with a pagan temple to honor the Greek sun god. Antiochus also set up his own corrupt High Priest. He dissolved their Biblical calendar, because these people of the Book tried to keep their time holy. He prohibited God’s people from observing dietary laws that respected the sanctity of life, laws of family and marital purity, the sign of the Abrahamic covenant, and even the use of their God’s Name. All holy writings were confiscated, pig’s blood was poured on them, and then they were burned. And if that wasn’t enough, pagan Greek altars and temples were set up everywhere, so the people could demonstrate their “new devotion.”

This was the climate present in the little town of Modi’in, which became the cradle for the general revolt against the Antichrist System of their day. A devout family headed by Mattisyahu the Hasmonean had fled Jerusalem where the persecution was strongest. One day the king’s forces appeared in Modi’in, and demanded that all the townspeople offer up a sacrifice in the pagan fashion. The official representatives of the King Antiochus looked for the most respected man in town. The king’s emissaries attempted to convince the venerable Mattisyahu that it would be to his material, social and earthly advantage if he would set an example for the people. If Mattisyahu were to comply, he and his sons would be considered the pagan king’s “friends,” an official title that carried with it many privileges with not the least being a substantial sum of money.

As Mattisyahu was defiantly refusing to profane “The Name,” a renegade Jew neared the altar to save his own life by offering the pagan-required sacrifice. When Mattisyahu saw this, he was indignantly filled with rage. In the fashion of Phineas, Mattisyahu grabbed a sword from a Greek soldier and killed not only the Jewish renegade, but the Syrian-Greek emissaries of the king (Num 25:1-13). Mattisyahu then proclaimed: “Whoever is zealous for God’s Word and is steadfast in the Covenant let him follow me!” Thus, Mattisyahu and his sons and entire family left all their worldly possessions behind in Modi’in and fled to the mountains in the Judean desert. Isn’t there an end-time prophecy about fleeing to the mountains and the Bride coming out of the desert leaning on her Beloved? Look it up. Well anyway, many others followed.

CHANUKAH DEVOTION FOR NIGHT 7:

How about some fiery new wine?!

The Feast of Dedication (Chanukah) celebrates the purification of God’s Temple, which is not only the preeminent house of worship in Jerusalem, but the Bible tells us that believers are the temple of the Holy Spirit: “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NLT).

The flame of the Holy Spirit burns inside and out of us, so we may be the light of the world. The miracle of the burning of the make-shift menorah at the first Chanukah signifies no matter how little oil one may have, God can always make it enough if we will only endeavor to do what is right in His eyes. This is a time when God Himself is literally communicating to individual members of His Body how He wants our temples dedicated as holy. Possibly the greatest mystery concealed within His Winter One-der-land of Chanukah speaks about cleansing our temple from the mystery of iniquity during this season to dedicate it anew for a holy purpose.

One of the greatest tests of the last days will revolve around the mark of the beast. From Revelation 13:17, we know that the mark of the beast is an economic symbol; because no one can buy, sell or trade in the world’s economic system unless they have received the beast’s mark. We also know from the preceding verse that worshiping the image of the beast will accompany his mark. What beastly image will people be worshiping in these last days? There are many answers to this question, but I believe that the simplest explanation is we will either worship God or ourselves.

“But understand this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear]. For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane… [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God” (2 Timothy 3:1-2, 4b AMP).
