DOING WHAT JESUS DID – “I AM THE DOOR” – HANUKKAH NIGHT 4

The fourth letter of the Hebrew Alef-Bet is dalet, which has a numerical value of 4 and a pictograph that looks like a door. It represents a door, a path, a way of life, or movement (especially into or out of). Therefore, as the fourth day of Hanukkah opens let’s explore the eighth as well as the ninth Hanukkah “I AM” statements of Yeshua – “I am the door.”

Remember, John 8:12-John 10:42 portrays Yeshua (Jesus) during the Feast of Dedication. It’s very significant that Yeshua declares twice “I am the door” in the midst of God’s Winter One-Dear-Land: “‘Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the DOOR into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the DOOR is a shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.’ This figure of speech Jesus spoke to them, but they did not understand what those things were which He had been saying to them. So Jesus said to them again, ‘Truly, Truly, I say to you, I AM THE DOOR OF THE SHEEP. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I AM THE DOOR; IF ANYONE ENTERS THROUGH ME, HE WILL BE SAVED, AND WILL GO IN AND OUT AND FIND PASTURE” (John 10:1-9 NASB).

We previously explored why God chose shepherds to be His witness that the Messiah was born. When I sought the Lord, I heard that the shepherds watching their flocks at night, the Good Shepherd Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ), and the time of year that Yeshua declared himself to be the Good Shepherd – Hanukkah – are all connected. God chose shepherds to witness the birth of Jesus, because He wanted to illustrate that Hanukkah is connected to Jesus’ birth, not Christmas. Many people believe that Jesus was conceived during the Feast of Dedication. Perhaps. It’s a good educated guess, but we need to note that God chose to hide the fact of when Jesus was born. At the Gateway of Awe in God’s Winter One-Dear-Land, it is the Light of the World illuminating the Door of the Good Shepherd – the Feast of Dedication.

I teach extensively about how the Cherubim in scripture are a picture of the New Living Creature made after the Order of Melchizedek. “This is the Living Creature I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubim” (Ezekiel 10:20 KJV). When a wing of God’s Melchizedek Army (four or more believers who have entered the Kingdom of God) fly by the Spirit with one another, they rise through the Revelation 4:1 DOOR – Yeshua – and they stand at the DOOR of the East Gate where Jesus returns to earth:

• “For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matthew 24:27 NASB).

• “And the Cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and EVERY ONE STOOD AT THE DOOR OF THE EAST GATE OF THE LORD’S HOUSE; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above” (Ezekiel 10:19 KJV).

• “After these things I looked and behold, A DOOR STANDING OPEN IN HEAVEN, and the first voice which I had heard. Like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things. And immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne” (Revelation 4:1-2 NASB).

Remember, we are supposed to walk like Jesus, talk like Jesus and be exactly like Jesus. The ultimate purpose of the Cherubim Classification of the Order of Melchizedek is to become the fully mature Body of the Messiah that holds fast to the Head – Messiah Yeshua. This is accomplished by the kings and priests of the Order of Melchizedek leading their own inner fire bride forth. Once we are manifestly wedded as the Bride of the Messiah, we then become incorporated into His Oneness Metatron Matrix (i.e., become one with the Messiah Yeshua). Esther 6:2 reveals that the king’s chamberlains are the keepers of the DOOR. The king’s chamberlains are the kings and priests of the Eternal Order of Melchizedek who are treasurers of the most intimate. YHVH’s Melchizedek Company is the predecessor for the unparalleled beauty of His Pure and Spotless Bridal Company. They both have pure hearts surrounded by Yeshua’s Blood, which passes through the righteous judgments that emanate from His Sapphire Throne. Behold, the Judge stands at the DOOR (James 5:9).

One of the bridal preparation functions that the Order of Melchizedek operates in is the role of the king’s chamberlain. A chamberlain is an attendant on a sovereign in his bedchamber. He is the chief officer in the household of a king who is the treasurer of his most intimate possessions. Behold, “my beloved put in his hand by the hole OF THE DOOR, and my bowels were moved for him” (Song of Songs 5:4 KJV). As guardians of the king’s most cherished treasures – our very selves and everyone made in His image – the royal priests of Melchizedek are in-charge of receiving, keeping and disbursing the king’s resources according to His heart.

One of the primary doors that we are guardians of is the door of our own heart. This is the primary focus for Hanukkah. The Messiah’s Feast of Dedication is the dedication of one’s own heart.

It’s major deal that a DOOR/GATE is mentioned for each one of the four abominations listed in Ezekiel chapter 8 that drives God’s Dwelling Presence far from His sanctuary (Ezekiel 8:5,7,8,14,16). These four abominations map to the four face of God (Melchizedek), and these four defile one’s heart. To the degree that we compromise with the four abominations is the degree that we don’t operate in the fullness of the Cherubim Classification of the Order of Melchizedek. This means that we will not be completely ruling and reigning in those compromised areas. The worship of Mithra (i.e. celebration of Christmas) compromises the face of the ox – the Father – which the Cherubim (who form the corporate Order of Melchizedek) is supposed to operate in. Behold, Yeshua who declares “I AM THE DOOR” during Hanukkah is knocking on the door of your heart. He wants you to open up to all of Him, including the feasts in God’s Word that the Messiah celebrated. When Yeshua says, “BEHOLD, I STAND AT THE DOOR, AND KNOCK: IF ANY MAN HEAR MY VOICE, AND OPEN THE DOOR, I WILL COME IN TO HIM, AND WILL SUP WITH HIM, AND HE WITH ME” (Revelation 3:20 KJV), He is speaking as the GREAT I AM:

• “I AM the Door of the sheep” (John 10:7).

• “I AM the DOOR: by Me if any one enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture” (John 10:9).

• “I AM the Alpha (Alef) and the Omega (Tav)” (Revelation 1:11).

• “I AM He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I AM alive forevermore” (Revelation 1:18).

DOING WHAT JESUS DID – “I AM THAT I AM” – HANUKKAH NIGHT 1

Welcome to the Gateway of Awe in God’s Winter One-Dear-Land!!!

Wooooo Hooooo!!!!! Tonight, Hanukkah begins! All the feasts that Jesus celebrated follow the Biblical model of a day being counted from sundown to sundown, like in the story of Creation in Genesis 1. “And there was evening and there was morning, one day” (Genesis 1:5 NASB). The Feast of Dedication – Hanukkah – is an eight-day celebration running from sundown December 12 to sundown December 20, 2017. Typically, the Hanukkah Menorah lights are kindled around sundown. Personally, I am not so concerned at being so exact to start at sundown that I miss the pure heart of entering in. You can find kindling of lights instructions, blessings and devotions below, which are listed under “Have a Hearty Hanukkah!!!”

Yeshua (Jesus) did many things during Hanukkah. You can read about it yourself in John 8:12 through John 10:42; because these are the works Yeshua did, and the celebration that He walked in during the Feast of Heart Dedication – Hanukkah.

Yeshua declared, “I am the Light of the World,” twice during the Feast of Dedication. Hanukkah is also called the Feast of Lights, which is what most people focus on. But, did you know that Yeshua declared “I AM” thirteen times during the eight-day Hanukkah Feast? One of the Hanukkah “I AM” statements Yeshua pronounced is: “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me” (John 8:28 NASB). Not only did Yeshua prophetically announce during Hanukkah the way He was to die, lifted up on the Cross of Calvary; but Messiah Yeshua broadcasts forevermore that if His people lift Him up, then they will know “I AM that I AM.”

Don’t get me started! I simply love speaking about “I AM that I AM!” In Exodus 3:14, the Bible tells us that God said to Moses “I AM who I AM.” In the original Hebrew, it has several translations, including “I will be who I will be” – “Hayah.” Hayah is a unique verb that carries a meaning of what was done in the past. Hayah also carries a meaning of what will be done in the future, but the present tense for this verb does not exist. Instead, it’s given that the verb “to be” (hayah) is just there. Hayah in the present tense is who you are and what you are manifesting at the present moment. It’s like saying “I Robin” where the “am” in “I am Robin” is already understood to exist, and it manifests in what a person is literally doing. It is all of our present realities.

The redemptive state of “hayah” can be simplified to a righteous State of Being that resonates at the same frequency in which it was originally created. Know that the Hebraic root to the concept of righteousness communicates “to be” (i.e., a righteous State of Being).

When the righteous “hayah” manifestation is coupled with the testimony of the spirit, water and blood in a person’s earth according to 1 John 5:8, it puts an exclamation point to a simple kingdom truth: “Little children, let no one deceive you. HE WHO PRACTICES RIGHTEOUSNESS IS RIGHTEOUS, JUST AS HE IS RIGHTEOUS” (1 John 3:7 NKJV). How can we say that what we do doesn’t matter? “Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right” (Proverbs 20:11 KJV). Yes. Righteousness is a state of being; but don’t forget that our actions will line up with our words when we practice righteousness. Everyone knows that people who don’t do what they say are hypocrites. “Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:7-9 NKJV).

Remember that the Father’s Gateway of Awe is His portal of entry into Hanukkah for His people. Never forget that YHVH’s manifestation of perfection is love. The holy, reverential fear of the Lord flows from His perfect love. Therefore, His perfection is not perfectionism. Our loving and gracious Heavenly Father is not after yucky legalistic perfectionism, so let’s embrace His great grace, as we journey unto the perfection of being made into the image of the Messiah.

All of God’s people need to be able to rightly assess how our actions line up with our words. Then, we need to evaluate how our words line up with the plumb line of righteousness Himself – the Word of God – Messiah Yeshua. When the three witnesses in our earth (spirit water, blood) are united and perfectly one with the three that are one in heaven, the righteous I AM (Hayah) becomes manifest.

“Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is He who came by water and blood – Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the spirit, the water and the blood; and these three agree as one” (1 John 5:5-8 NKJV).

Behold, I AM who I AM!!!
