In the midst of the overcoming self-protection, Yeshua (Jesus) came to me and told me that He had something that He’d like to show me. He took my hand and led me to the Father.
I remember the fear I felt and the comfort of Yeshua at the same time. During this divine encounter, I only saw the Father from the waist down, because I was too frightened to look up at the time. Our Heavenly Father sat there like the Lincoln Memorial statue with His hands on the chair rail of His throne. I would look to Yeshua for assurance, and back at the Father’s feet. Look at Yeshua. Look back at the throne and His feet.
Yeshua smiled gently at me, as if to say: “See. He’s not bad.” Then He took my hand and we flew to a heavenly place where these iridescent shards of light were piercing the atmosphere. As I looked at these shooting iridescent shards of light going wherever He willed in wonder, Jesus said, “This is a picture of My Father’s Love. Just as the natural world has been founded on the waters, so has the spiritual world been founded on the Father’s love.”
He then discussed with me how my struggle to drink water at the time was a manifestation of me not loving myself, and even life itself, to a degree.
“The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. (Psalms 24:1-2 NIV)
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love” (Ephesians 1:3-4 NRS).
