“Choose this day” has been the theme this year. Each of our choices have consequences that are revealed by our actions. All of us will be known for our fruits: “Either produce like a good tree with good fruits, or produce like a bad tree with bad fruits; for a tree is known by its fruits” (Matthew 12:33 Aramaic).

“Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right” (Proverbs 20:11). Am I the only one who gets the reverential fear of the Lord when I read Revelation 22:12? “And, Behold I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according to his work” (Revelation 22:12 KJV).

In 2016, true believers in Yeshua ha Machiach (Jesus Christ), who are called “virgins” in Matthew 25, have a one-der-ful choice to make in His Winter One-der-land. Christmas and Hanukkah start on the same day – the evening of December 24th. Each and every one of us will choose in our hearts and by our actions one or the other. We will choose to do what Yeshua did (John 10:22-23), or we will choose to do what the Anti-Christ did. I personally believe that there is also a special grace to cross over where people who do Christmas continue to celebrate Hanukkah for seven more days. The caveat is you must not go back. Foolish virgins will choose to party with the world while believing that they are doing it all for Jesus.
