In the Tabernacle of David, Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) sits on the Throne of David, which is established on Mount Zion.
The Archangel Gabriel told Mary: “He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the THRONE OF His father DAVID. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end” (Luke 1:32-33 NKJV ).
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the THRONE OF DAVID, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this” (Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV ).
Only those who prepare, by having clean hands and a pure heart, have entrance to this royal court. The entrance to Mount Zion’s throne room is actually hidden. Let Queen Esther model for you how to enter and obtain favor from the King. Let us approach the King of Kings with humility, love and reverential awe. Let the wings of His angelic army become the canopy of His glory over us, as His Presence overwhelms.
Our next School of the Firmament #3 class has a Tabernacle of David, Mount Zion and Throne of David focus. We will learn the history of the Tabernacle of David and how the Ark got there as well as the lessons learned on how to host God’s Dwelling Presence.
