Oneness love is a natural state between a man and wife. It’s significant that out of all of creation only man and woman began as a single living being who was made in God’s image (Gen. 1:26). Adam recognized that man and woman began as a single unit (and he would have known): “And of the rib which the LORD God had taken from Adam he made a woman, and brought her to Man. And Adam said, This is now BONE OF MY BONE, AND FLESH OF MY FLESH; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man” (Genesis 2:22-23 Lamsa’s Aramaic).
