Enoch was a forerunner for our day. Once again, a righteous remnant, who walks so intimately with God that they become one with Messiah Yeshua, will be translated as well.
“Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him” (Genesis 5:24). The Greek verb “to take” in the Septuagint for Genesis 5:24 is metatithemi, which means to change place or to be transferred. When we put this together with 3 Enoch 4 telling us that Metatron is Enoch the son of Jared, we can extrapolate that the three main consonants for the name Metatron are a possible transliteration of the Greek, according to Charles Mopsik. Mopsik suggests that the name “Metatron” can designate “the one who has been translated.” I totally agree!!!
