As Crucified Ones, mature (i.e. maturing) sons of God abide in the place of Galatians 2:20 – “I am crucified with Christ (crucified in union with Christ); it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Mature sons of God move beyond the place of having faith in God and faith through God to the place of having the exact same FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD.
Hebrew 7:3 tells us that Melchizedek is made like unto the Son of God. If you want to dig Melchizedek deep, study all the references to the “Son of God” in Scripture. They always first apply to Yeshua (Jesus), then to those made priests forever after the Order of Melchizedek. So study the phrase “Son of God” in Scripture and put yourself there.
For instance, Matthew 27:40 shows us that the SON OF GOD REFUSED TO COME DOWN FROM THE CROSS… so will the Melchizedek Company. We will be sifted again and again and again to get all the impurities out! All our flesh (sin nature) needs to be destroyed at His altar, so we can be made into His exact image.
