Remember when Jesus said to Pilate: “My Kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36)? The Dead Sea Scrolls gives us some clues when it describes the Holy of Holies as the raz nihyeh – the mystery of being or the mystery of becoming. Wise people were exhorted to gaze on the raz nihyeh in order to understand the birth time of salvation and know who will inherit glory.
