Walk Water Girl

The first occurrence of the word “firmament” in Scripture in in Genesis 1:6. Additionally, within the first eight verses of Scripture, the word “firmament” is significantly mentioned five times:

“ God said, ‘Let there be a FIRMAMENT in the midst of the waters, and let it separate between water and water,’ So God made the FIRMAMENT, and separated between the waters that were beneath the FIRMAMENT and the waters that were above the FIRMAMENT. And it was so. GOD CALLED TO THE FIRMAMENT: ‘HEAVEN.’ And there was evening and there was morning, a second day” (Genesis 1:6-8 Tanach).

The Hebrew word for FIRMAMENT is קִיעַ râqîyaʻ, which is pronounced raw-kee’-ah). It means an expanse, or firmament, or the visible arch of the sky. Its comes from the Hebrew primitive root רָקַע râqaʻ, pronounced raw-kah’, which means to pound the earth (as a sign of passion), i.e., crucifixion. By analogy, it means to expand (by hammering), which is the process by which the Golden Menorah and the Golden Cherubim on the Cover of the Ark of the Covenant were made.

Therefore, we can connect the crucifixion in union with Christ process that enables humans to become divine again, i.e. take on your cherubic nature, with the Cherubim of the Ark of His Presence and the Light in God’s Temple (Golden Menorah). Angelic (Cherubic) Priests of the Order of Melchizedek are sons of light and sons of the resurrection. They are angelic priests of His Presence.

  2. Interesting Robin!!! While i was reading the part about pounding the earth something i read yesterday popped in my mind: ancient threshing floors were either a flat rock or the earth was pounded very flat. (They were out doors so the chaff could be blown away by the wind)I though that was an interesting connection and especially since i just read that yesterday and just read this message from you today. 🙂
