“Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14). We each get to choose to be or not to be made like unto Melchizedek, which basically means that a person is in the process of being made after the Order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 7:3). Becoming a Son of God entails suffering. If we share in His suffering, we will share in His glory. My mentor – Nancy Coen – always adds that His suffering and your suffering is much different. Selah. After the Son of God (think of the Mature Head and His Body) suffers, creation is released from its bondage to decay (Romans 8:12-25).
